I think the thing that bothers me most about this game is the fact that the main character doesn't have gloves as she treks through this endless blizzard. She's even touching bare metal - her hands would've fallen off ages ago! I still don't understand anything about this game. I *think* it's trying to be funny with most everything it's doing, but it's largely coming across as just being very bizarre and inexplicable so far.

🤣I don't even want to know how cold this would be. The vibe i'm getting so far from it is that Indika has schizophrenia or something similar and has been outcast as a result, forcing her to question what it all really means in the grand scheme of things. I like that this game shows that honestly sometimes life can be very strange with no real reason. It does help that the moments are pretty funny. It's getting philosophical in this one for sure!

@@hololobun4703 For sure schizophrenia vibes, but there's also just the...dialogue being so overly serious and dramatic (and with weird timing/pacing!) that it kind of wraps around to being comedic instead, the useless point and level-up systems, the sudden switching to pixel art... And how were you supposed to read that ridiculous bike chase sequence as being anything but funny? If this is supposed to be a sincere portrayal of mental illness a la Hellblade, I think it's got a little too much silliness going on for it to be working quite as expected, haha. But I won't complain about it, at least not yet: other games that try way too hard at "we're a serious game with something serious to say about this subject" probably fall flat on their faces at a much higher frequency than games that know when to be a little silly with it.
