The defending at juventus was completely different like at ajax or bayern. at ajax and bayern they play in general way more attacking football and the defenders are involved in the game and are not there to defend deep and be passive the rest of the game. De ligt is a player who needs to be involved in the game. His passing ability is pretty good. He himself said that the style of defending at juventus didn't fit him too well.

De Ligt had a lot of pressure at Juventus and he learned from Chiellini and Bonucci but now with this move theBayern style fits him perfect and he can develop a lot more. Happy he found a home he's a top player. Juventus would rather a team player than one that wants away so its bittersweet he didn't want to fight his way back to glory with us.
