    So I asked Alexa, "When should you 5 bet A 7 OS out of position?" Her response was "WTF are you doing three betting it?", then she canceled all my poker training site subscriptions.

    • @Peter-zg3em
      @Peter-zg3em 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      meh. you play the board and the positioning at the tables, the bet sizing, the stacks. poker isn't about "lookin a man in his eye and smelling da the bluff." this flop is super uncoordinated and it went check check. middle pair is likely to be good and you're getting good odds. in luda's case you can consider that he's more likely to bluff the river than any man at the table, but you need to consider this board and the nature of a 5 bet pot when you're super deep. the only real "play the man" tell i see is that mike nia wanted it to go check check and sounded sincere. luda bet immediately and mike folded. but again, he would never do that on a worse board when you've got rags in a 5 bet pot.

    Luda won the hand with his comment on Mike lifting the cards. So Mike has in his mind that probably Luda saw one if not both cards. The river bet Mike thinks Luda knows he has Mike beat. No call. Then Mike says Luda had him beat and it goes back to the Luda comment earlier about the cards. I don’t think Luda meant to plant the seed but the result was the same.

    Why the hell u call flop & turn then fold when the 9 comes ? The only straight hand he can have is J10 and u blocked it. AK will never fire river. He bassically tell u that he has a set or nothing here, would he 5 bet preflop with 7s, i dont think so. And if he make a set with 9 at river, would he fire 17k as a value bet ??? imo if he has a set he would bet 1/3 or 1/4 pot to value Ax holding.
