Sorry to say, it’s an incomplete interview. First of all they should have introduced each of the organisers, even those not present. How are they related to each other. What’s their profession. How do they get time to put this together or is it their full time job. Or is it a literary organisation, etc. Who finances this, how do they market it. Is it a non-profit activity. These are a few interesting facts that audience wants to know. Instead, it has turned out to be a conversation among members of mutual admiration society. The ticket prices are exorbitant in India beyond the reach of average Urdu/Mushaira lover. It seems the exercise is to make video & put on social media. Having said all the above it’s a refreshing change in otherwise a monotonous practice of conducting Mushaira.
