I've been a fan of Rose for awhile now but I need a little advice..I absolutely do not like the sweet Rose's but prefer the more drier Rose almost like the dryness of a Pinot Gris or a Sauvignon Blanc.. How do I know when picking out a bottle if its sweet or not? Not all bottles have a description on the back and was wondering if there's a color to tip me off?
So… of course, as video about wine fashions, you were required to take a dig at White Zin. However, if this video had been made during the heyday of White Zin, half of the video would’ve been taken up explaining how White Zin was a “blush”, rather than one on those disgusting pariahs of oenology, a rosé! In retrospect, what is a “blush”, and how does it differ, if at all, from other rosés?
Dude, white zin was all the rage in the EARLY 80's in Nor Cal, always ahead of it's time.
I love the bottle of Eberle Côtes-du-Rôbles Rosé you showed for dark opinions. Such a wonderful example of CA rosé.
Learned a lot! Getting into Rosè more. It's growing on us.
