Good job Shane. I also did what you did, beginning of the year. Most important tool for the job is a wire stripper pliers (auto strip equal lengths & doesn't matter the gauge, PS. It's also a crimper). Flux, Solder, Heatshrink.
Definitely a wire stripper. With a normal cutter your fingers start to pain 😅

Do I need to ground the negative terminal/cable twice like you did?
I had to replace mine but I just grounded the cable to the gearbox mounting. The car does swing but I think I have a low battery and that's why it won't start.
U will need to ground it to ur body and ur gearbox

Kak clean m bru but that stukkie where you grinded the water proofing in the fender is going to rust kak fast if you dont like cover it again because its exposed metal
We did use some Spray to cover it up for now. It will need to be rubberized once again

Great job. Is that a short block 2l or was the tappet cover and intake changed? or is it a 2l block with a 1.6i head?
Its just a different tappet cover thats all.
