Mangalajodi is known as bird's paradise. It is located in northern part of Chilika lake at Tangi block of Khurda district in the state of Odisha. It's nearby railway station is Balugaon or Khurda Road Jn. In the winter season a large number of different migratory birds 🐦 gather here. Every year for months from October to February thousands of birds are seen here. It's the best place of birds 🐦 photography. Different kinds of bird 🐦 are Whiskered tern, black tailed godwit, bronze winked jakana, oriental pranticol Asian Openbill bill, Northern Shoveler, purple Heron and so on.
