Those comedians telling Trevor is arrogant have no idea how many lives Trevor has touched. First time i watched his comedy on youtube in about 2015-2016. Since then i have been watching every video Trevor Noah is in,including all episodes of The Daily Show. He is the comedian i found out about the history of South Africa from, he helped me learn about the recent presidents of the USA. Of course he was not the only source of all that knowledge, but generally he was the one who got me interested to know more about his people. I believe he deserves to be acknowledged. Btw, I am from Kazakhstan.

That fact that he can make people laugh so much without cursing like the majority of mainstream comedians today shows what true comedy is about . His brand of humour is intelligent . He makes you think and see the funny side of any subject he grasps no matter how serious. He makes intelligent arguments making us laugh but without offending at the same time. Jon Stewart knew exactly what a gem he came across and introduced him to us. Trevor is genuine and a breath of fresh air in a world so full of cynism .

Trevor Noah is special, there isn't always the same path in this business. I'm Russian, and I love Trevor Noah, how smart he is, how unique he is, how talanted he is. He reaches out to ppl of different nations, statuses and so on. I've read his book, seem performances - touching. He is amazing.
I'm not famous, I am a teacher, but I know how older generation looks at you and say that you are arrogant and too young, what can you know about this or that. Somebody just have skills and talent, doesn't mean you have to have a big experience.

Appreciate the fact that your hard work paved the way for younger future generations to have a better easier time instead of being upset that it is easier and shorter. To be fair, their world was different. Everything developed S.L.O.W.L.Y. . . . for them. They didn't live in a world where thing could happen/blow up instantaneously. It's like the difference between doing research starting with a library catalogue, graduating to a reference catalogue and then landing in the digital world. From pre-Internet to dial-up Internet to the explosion of everything on the Internet as it is now. They expected everyone else to work up the ranks as they did in a phonebook era, when they didn't know that everything had moved to touch screens. And that was in a span of a mere 30 to 40 years. They had no idea how much things had/have changed.

You've really rised above all odds Trevor. So your taxi got stolen when you were 22years old you make the stats now and your Mom got shot that stats too with not much punishment on those who inflicted harm. I have same 2 cases to this day no one was arrested for my car and my brother shooting💔. You have paved the way for one man show in South Africa and it was brilliant you nailed it despite all the critics👊✌. And thank you for teaching the world about South Africa and Africa as a continent 🇿🇦🙏. Your material is pure because it's what you've been through ya whole life✌👌. But with the Goddesses like your Granny and Mom you wouldn't get lost, they instilled love in you and family and it shows how you all get along 😄❤you never forget where you came from. Humble and down to earth as always. I like your rebelious ways though of not wanting to be told what to joke about and what not to say and what to say👊💪.you were right to put your feet down and make a stand 👏👏👏. I can ramble whole day /big essay 😅😂but no necessary. You've made us proud 🇿🇦🙏and have represented us in many ways🇿🇦. Thanks for making this documentary too.🇿🇦much love👌🙌💪👊✌👌👏👏

Those who says Noah is arrogant is clearly threatened. What Noah has, is deliberate conviction to succeed and do and be the best to blast his way to a better future for himself and family through success. Look at Trevor today; top in the game globally, roasting President of USA at correspondents gala, hosting on TV,.. Etc. He's gifted, blessed and he knew his mission very early on and he's firmly on the right path. Great job Noah. 🙏😇👏❤️

Trevor.... This is a PERSONAL message to you... My niece (White) married and had two children with an isiXhosa man, an absolute top drawer human being - investigative journalist of note, and their son incidentally, looks the spitting image of you (I teased dad about the likeness in looks of TN in the son, if it didn't perturb him : his succinct reply was : "Oh we all know Trevor Noah is a Naughty man"!!!) The son and daughter look coloured but are strong isiXhosaians... And dead proud of it... Their father had origins in Qunu (Nelson Mandela country - also from same clan - Madiba - he and Mandela (Grandson of NM) herded goats together in Qunu District)....
Love your honesty and loyalty and pride to your ethnicity...
One last thing - my mom's (French Hugenot stock to little British Protectorate Rhodesians/Zambians - ie. us... Offspring) response to cheekiness in any form was : "Ek klap jou dat jy trek!"... "Ek klap jou dat jou tandem wissel"...
Love how you introduce the different ethnic groups together so naturally, with humor...
You are a great man and I am a HUGE fan... DO NOT LET ANYONE CALL YOU ARROGANT... JEALOUSY MAKES THEM NASTY...

i believe every nomad immigrant soul can relate to him. and get so much support... love, trevor. ❤ you have no idea how much you mean to people you never met. (and for some of us, where the mixture of "blackness" and "whiteness" is not even obvious cos, in my case it is a mixture of "east post-communist europe" vs "western europe"..) what you talk about and refer to is universal. and archetypal. and deeply human. immense gratitude and respect to you, sir 🙏♥️

Adversities could either make you or break you. The part about doing Corporate gigs is a good example. Trevor is Special in every way and I'm so glad it turned out exceptionally well. Kudos to the channel for the Upload

Thank you for sharing this amazing documentary with the world. I respect you as much as any comedian of this generation, and absolutely love your quick wit and genuine humor. Your intelligence is refreshing in an age where so many comedians lean on foul language and gutter mentality to get a laugh. Thank you for your contributions to our world.

I feel sad to those unknown (to me) comedian who say that Trevor is arrogant. I can't find anything arrogant about Trevor Noah he is just very funny and intelligent stand up which makes him stand out compare to them.

They're jealous and probably felt threatened by Trevor Noah, so they need to undermine him through their arrogant assumption of him. I think they're the ones who are arrogant, especially the nearly old white SA guy.

Trevor delivers real issues and facts with comedy and it gets the point across. I've never heard him swear and he never "shits" on other people. The way he was brought up plays a big role and his family did well when raising him.

Watching the other comedians talk shit about Trevor made me think of a fitting german term: Armutszeugnis. It describes the way someone shows their own incapability and/or poorness of spirit through their actions or words, often without even noticing it.
