I have the same scooter and it doesn't indicate rpms correctly (It has the original spark plug and the battery is fully charged

I have an identical super 9 but its red black and silver. it's tach doesn't read correctly, IE never actually displays the actual RPM.
any ideas to potential causes? thanks

Wrong spark plug most likely. The correct one is a 'resistor' type plug that came with the scoot. Otherwise the tach will act wacky!

@@williambeck6364 its the correct spark plug. matching code with what the manual calls for (BR8HSA)

Usally a weak battery will do that.
