I think the relationship part of this can actually be removed. This idea is true in most areas of your life.
In high school I once told someone “do you know anyone who doesn’t like me? See it is possible” that was part of my journey but a bit of a nice guy.
In my early 20’s I was washing dishes and bussing tables. I didn’t like washing dishes so I told my manager “I quit as a dish washer, today I am giving my 2 week notice”. 2 weeks later he put me on the schedule as a dishwasher, and I didn’t show up. He was very confused and really annoyed with me. And that was ok. I was learning to do the things that were good for me without worrying how others would think about it. And also do that thing as respectfully as possible.
In many areas I still worry what others will think but when it’s something very important to me I don’t worry about that much.
I have become a gentleman with tendencies towards being a nice guy.

I have this caseworker who is trying to steal credit for a short story I wrote. He won't succeed, but he probably will give it to another gay guy to get credit for. That story is the only accomplishment I have credit for. My caseworker owns an SUV and an apartment. Gays think the world owes them everything because of past abuse. They're so disgusting. I don't feel sorry for them.
