They're marching at a pace of 120 paces/minute in the video, as that's the standard British Army pace. The Band, when supporting it's own unit (the Gurkhas) march even faster, at 140 paces/minute. I think most people would struggle with the Army's standard, let alone the increased 140 pace. Definitely worthy of recognition there.
You must be referring to the Sikh guardsman toward the rear of the right file. They are authorized to wear their turban in black in lieu of a bearskin. Its a religious thing.
