I’m glad she’s able to get actual healthcare since she’s rich and can afford the best of the best. I am happy for her and always wish her the best!
I, on the other hand have Medicare and have the same exact illness as her (including kidney failure) except insurance doesn’t want to pay for my treatment for Lupus. And it’s 10k each infusion.
I have been treated very poorly by the medical field (medical gaslighting and other forms of malpractice) and was often brushed off and told my symptoms were due to anxiety. I finally received not only the diagnosis for SLE Lupus but also Lymphoma. I have had dialysis, IVIG, and chemo. A port was placed on my right side because my veins were ready to give up.
I just wish I had more of a voice to share my story and be heard for once. I don’t have easy publicity like Selena. So I am working with what I have. ❤ thank you for being a true inspiration to not only myself but to everyone who can relate!
