00:00- INTRO* Finally we made it to the East Coast of the USA specifically to the beautiful state of New Jersey. Let’s explore the Wildwood Crest, walk on the beach and catch one of the most beautiful sunsets. So join me only on the Epic Travel Adventures.
00:22 - The view from our Coastal Colors penthouse located on the Atlantic Ave is spectacular. You can see the whole Wildwood Crest and the promenade with the Atlantic Ocean.
01:50- This is the area’s famous ice cream truck which instead of the classic ice cream tune plays the Lambada music.
02:20- This is the Mulligan’s Liquors - a liquor store in the area.
02:32- Somehow a frog got stuck to the window.
02:57- Today with the temperature of about 90 degrees Fahrenheit, lots of people are enjoying the Wildwood Crest Beach, playing volleyball, and strolling around.
03:58- Wildwood Crest with the population of over 3K people is actually a borough in Cape May County. In 2008, Wildwood Crest Beach was ranked the 2nd best beach in the whole state of New Jersey in the top 10 beaches contest. As you can see it is very clean and peaceful here. This beach becomes packed every Spring Break with students from all over the country.
04:22- These little huts are the rental storage units for beach umbrellas and beach chairs.
05:33- With such hot temperatures it’s actually hot to walk on sand barefoot.
06:24- Did you know that Wildwood Crest became a borough on April 6th of 1910 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature? The name Wildwood Crest comes from the area’s local wild flower called Wildwood.
06:46- And these are not the Wildwood flowers. These are fake flowers buried in the sand.
06:53- It’s actually amazing how all this grass and greenery can grow in the sand - literally.
08:12- The United States flag beautifully waving in the air sitting in peace and tranquility.
08:20- This is the “Bradley's Bike Rentals” where you can rent bikes for a fairly cheap price and ride them throughout the city. The bike rental is located right across the Sunrise Park at Rambler Road you see here.
10:15- Most of these houses are rentals for the Summer months located on the promenade parallel to the Atlantic Ave. They are very expensive to rent but are VERY nice and spacious inside. Plus what’s better than catching a sunset on your balcony while gazing at the ocean? These rentals go for about $10K US dollars per week. And you heard me right - I said per week.
11:18- By the way the semi-circle flags you see hanging from the balconies are the Bunting Flags used for decorations typically on federal holidays in US such as 4th of July and Memorial Days.
11:31- From the penthouse of our condo the view of the ocean and the sunset is simply breathtaking. If you are lucky enough you will catch these beautiful and unrealistic looking sunsets daily on clear nights. Even in the evenings you feel the dampness and the humidity in the air. But that’s typical on the East Coast states.
12:44- PREVIEW* Next, let’s walk on the famous Jersey Shores, see the Centennial Park, see the Wildwood Beach Ball Sign, walk the famous Wildwood boardwalk and see its night life. So stay tuned, ONLY on the Epic Travel Adventures!

Best thing about the Crest no bars or liquor stores so very seldom see drunken teenagers raising hell. Bad thing down towards South end no restaurants and few places to even get a decent lunch. Walked out of our motel on Mother's day weekend and 2 of the 3 sandwich shops were not opened yet for the season and ended up getting a horrible hoagie at some dump. Wish the ocean was closer. We stayed at the very clean El Coronado and enjoyed a very good breakfast every morning in their little restaurant.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Yeah I suppose it depends on what exact location you stay at as well as the season. I definitely love the ocean though and you can stay right up on the waterfront. Of course that will be more pricey. But I definitely love the Summer weather over there and the whole Crest atmosphere. Thanks for watching my videos. 😇

I thought Wildwood Crest was a FAMILY destination, not a millionaire's destination
You’re right from what I observed it is a family destination which offers lots of good food, nice safe atmosphere and of course the ocean. But regardless those waterfront houses are very expensive because not only they’re very spacious but also from what I know, multiple families would rent these houses and split the cost. For example like 10 people would stay there for a week and split the cost. Just to give you a rough idea. And by the way, thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts and ideas. 💡
