Toyota and VW in partnership? I was the T&W guy for Saturn taking over for Bill Z. way back in '95. I also worked on the one in Shreveport, LA as well as the one over at Comprehensive Logistics, Inc. At Saturn, the original balancer was a static balancer, which got replaced by a Schenck-Turner POS. Schenck-Turner eventually got black-balled from GM for a number of years, and I am happy to say that I had a fairly large role in that. :) Shreveport had a Micro-poise balancer. Not a bad balancer, just be sure to not try to balance a deflated tire. Otherwise it will spin the tire on the rim and let loose with a ton of smoke (and ruin the tire and wheel in the process).

We’re still safe for now. This only works because it’s new production wheels and tire’s being assembled under very controlled conditions. As long as there’s raggedy old trucks with jacked up studs, screws in sidewalls, rounded swollen lug nuts, camber worn tires, corroded and bent/cracked wheels, and corroded tpms.. there’s no replacement for human labor.
@MAG OutdoorXtvt yes I don't mean that in general. It's all I've done my whole life, but even at that, it's still not that difficult. There are key components to making it possible which are encoders and servos and servo drives and controls. It is not a single person or entity that makes it all possible, but all of us together. Post curing inflator process which is shown in the video takes about 2 hours to complete, they have shown only the start and the end of the process.
There is always one. Congratulations, you are the one. The point I made was purely a joke. Everyone knew it was a joke, except, apparently you. No one cares how long it takes to produce one tire. You are the type of person that stands by at a birthday party with a fire extinguisher when the candles are lit.

I’ve built one of these when I worked for industrial tech services for Toyota. I went to the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga Tennessee. And installed it
I work at fanuc now , would love to be a I.T and be installing them in the field -
Toyota and VW in partnership?

It's not that difficult
@@BojaneBugami if you know the basic yes.....but i don't even learn about engineering so difficult for me
@MAG OutdoorXtvt yes I don't mean that in general. It's all I've done my whole life, but even at that, it's still not that difficult. I don't mean to downplay how cool it is, but when you see it daily and learn how it all works, it really is easy. There are key components to making it possible which are encoders and servos and servo drives and controls. It is not a single person or entity that makes it all possible, but all of us together. It's a very fun profession especially now.
Generally you don't just start out to create machines like this from nothing, they're a long evolution over many years with many small additions/changes.
Well its not 1 brain its a company so thousands of brains over years
In America we have the technology to have these tires made like this, but I bet there’s some factory in the Middle East somewhere where dudes are working barefoot making tires out of old shoes using a hammer, a screwdriver, and some fire.

Yeah, I'm convinced...as soon as they say they are now going to be using robots for my job I will just leave no questions asked.
I currently work at Goodyear and recently we got some of these machines and they are called single man. These machines are automatic and it combines both first stage and second stage processes. I currently do first stage and the liner, cord and wings are put on and spliced by hand. These machines suck for it’s impossible to cut out bad material for it’s all automatic therefore unless the material is perfect there will be a ton of downgrades. I gotta say I love what I do and that’s saying something for factory work.
