Skid Row were a good rock and roll band that were going nowhere back in the day. That is until Sebastian Bach joined the lineup. Then they became a great rock and roll band with Bach's incredible pipes. Sebastian elevated them to Superstar status. They would have remained unknowns playing the New Jersey Club Circuit without Sebastian Bach.
Doc Mcgee said it best... "They were always the Bridesmaids but never the Bride" They were a damn good Rock n Roll band but never got to Headliner status due to who they were up against when they were in their prime with bands like GnR, Metallica,Aerosmith, ect. It's too late to try and capture that back in 2022....The Boat had already left before Bachs departure in 96. Bach can't hit the notes anymore,anyhow....I personally wouldn't pay to see a diminished version of the great Band I remembered.
Absolute truth, phenomenal singer and 'Slave to the Grind' is one of best albums in metal imo but no person on the planet could stick the guy for too long.
Rachel Bolen? Haha, just kidding. Sebastian of course..Haha, right you are. It's like when Motley Crue and Vince first parted ways and they both put out an album, the Vince Neil band album sounded much more like Motley Crue than the actual Motley Crue did and was way better IMO. At this point I don't think Sebastian needs to go backwards to that band, because he pretty much was the band.
Skid Row not getting back together with Sebastian Bach for a tour is one of the most puzzling things in hard rock/heavy metal. I get where Snake, Rachel, and Scotti are coming from.... but I also get where Baz is coming from. I get it, they get offered a lot of money and still don't want to do it...but c'mon, us fans of the first 3 albums aren't getting any younger either. 1 little tour pleeeeaase
Just from hearing the 3 original SR guys in interviews I think Baz should just stay solo, I used to want a reunion as well. I'm not sure it would be fun being in a band with those 3 anymore, I mean they wasted so much time talking shit about Sebastian when they could have been working things out a long time ago. The solo shows are killer, that's all anyone needs.
Good interview. I think Dave summed it well in the interview...Be proud of the past and just have fun playing music. I'm a huge fan of Erik Gronwall and think he'll do an amazing job paying homage to the hits of the past but also putting down some good new music in the future. Sure, I'd love to see Bach there but it is what it is. I Skid Row has themselves a fantastic front man who is still in his prime years. I'm excited to see what they can come up with and will catch them live if I get the chance.
Seb has got such a point here, that it hurts. Hope that they do reform the original line up and maybe rob could consider coming back too. Thanx for the video
After having Erik now, you're still hoping there's a chance? You can sit and wait for pigs to fly too, but that isn't happening either. Sorry, but it's not happening.
@@Principessa180shellybean thinks she's the Skid Row expert. She can tell the future of everything that happens in Skid Row. I think she's a Sebastian Bach hater. She always says hateful shit about him. I say, unless she's on Skid Rows payroll and in the band she needs to SHUT THE F UP!!!
I saw Sebastian buy a couple years ago and he killed it! He still has the chops he still loves it sometimes you got to balance the egos man for the greater good.
I agree, but there's always a flippside. Couple things, Skid Row has money, no doubt. I'm pretty certain they accumulated most of their wealth when Baz was there, more than all of the other singers combined, that's why they can afford to say no to a reunion. I've seen many bands throughout the years with replacement players and sometimes its fine. Unfortunately, it seems that 90 percent of the fans aren't ok with SR unless the original band is intact and I'm pretty sure they know it, they gotta read the overwhelming amount of comments.
How does he know he wouldn’t be happy with Sebastian? They haven’t talked since 1996. Everyone has matured and look at life differently now that they are not basically kids. It’s too bad really.
@@-KYUSS- yes and no. I would believe being a member of skid row, you would want Bach to rejoin. They said they tried to talk to him and it stopped right after a few text messages. Means that he clearly gave signs with text messages that he hasn’t changed. Witnessing that skid row is willing to make less money instead of going back on tour with Bach, says a lot about how he was unmanageable during those years.
the Hardest thing is to replace a Voice. Especially a well known good voice. Motley couldn't do it, priest and maiden couldn't do it. Journey found a guy that looked and sounded just like Steve Perry but Never had the same success. Queensryche got a guy who sounds Alot like Tate but I don't think there selling venues out. Van Halen ( lMO ) had great success but let's face it EVH was on a different level than most players but even as great as he was couldn't get Gary over. This is No knock on Any of the replacement singers. Listen to those TNT albums, Tony Harnell is Freakin Awesome. Ripper and Todd are great singers. Snake and company need to realize if it wasn't for Bach I'm not sure Anybody would know who they are. The 80s were special. Suck it up and do it for the fans. For Gods sake If G&R can do it, I think skid row could too.
The revolving door of lead singers continues! I know Baz can be hard to deal with but they need to at least give the man props for what he done for them!! They were going nowhere when the kid from Canada saved their asses.
He is not answering, and skid row were nothing without Sebastian. A bit of gratitude it’s needed. Just because the own the name and the songs, by seb made it possible.
These guys keep blaming their singers for their lack of success. Bottom line is they can't keep their egos in check and have subsequently blamed every singer after Bach for their lack of success.
Hung out with johnny solinger at a local bar in north houston a few years ago. Couldn’t ask for a better guy. Wasn’t stuck up at all we talked like just regular guys and shared shots.
@@violetsaffron666 wasn’t able to see him with skid row but I seen him in 2019 with his solo band. It was 3 young kids I think one of them was his son (not sure). Very talented kids. Johnny was a good man for sure.
What a complicated situation, both are right, the band (or more likely Sabo) want to take it easy, but then there's Bach who says it right, classic rockers are dying left and right, OG Skid Row they're alive and well, they're old and more mature, they could pull it off.
@@chrisflood9205 You wouldn't be too far off. Bach came to Hampton Beach NH (hour north of Boston) roughly 2018, to a venue that holds a little over 2000 people. The following year, he came back to Hampton Beach NH, but to a place about a mile down the street (Wally's Pub), that holds about 1300 people less.
Every time I've seen Baz it's always crowded, since he left its been at least 10 times. I have no idea how many people show up at SR shows, only what I've read. It never seems like it's all that much.
These guys apparently will never get over the fact that Bach is what made them known. They would've had better luck making an entirely new band with new singers, there's no way anyone will ever no immediately think of Sebastian when the words skid row are said.
Now that Erik's the singer I am focusing more on Snake, Rachel and Scotti, but the band in general. I know who's voice I originally heard back in the day, but YT videos of Erik singing the songs and the new songs, I hear Erik. Back then I did focus on all five members, but Bach WAS the focal point, he also thought he WAS the band and that was a slow screw up on his part because, it's part of the reason he got fired. Erik has no drama, isn't a loose cannon loudmouth and most of all is humble and appreciative. Skid Row is five guys now, a band and not just a one man circus with players in the background. Jmo.
Yes, it afforded them to play musical singers all these wasted years. Although its just a small percentage, It's mind-blowing that anyone supports this nonsense.
Sebastian is a great singer and a great front man but I could not imagine, not even fathom having to go on tour with him. Annoying would be an understatement.
One of the best bands. I have always admired, Snake every interview with him is awesome. I love them all; meaning original members. Sometimes it's just better to leave well enough alone. Skid row was amazing.
It Does'nt Matter Who Skid Row Get To Front Them - Their Only Skid Row With Sebastian Bach Fronting Them - Their Just a Joke Of a Band Now Fell Off The Radar Big Time Since SB Left - RIP 😥 Johnny Solinger.
LOL Baloney. You fanbois are hilarious. Like little groupies. Who wrote the music? Who made all that happen? It wasn't Bach. He's an extraordinary talent as a rock singer. But he isn't worth all the dram he creates. Drama after drama after.... more drama. The guy is a self-destructive joke. It's about the music, and the playing.
@Jimmy Z I take it you won't admit SR made the piles of money they have because of Sebastian, I'm pretty certain if they started with someone else other than Baz they wouldn't have been as successful as they were. The 90 thousand girls that showed up to those concerts when SR toured the first few albums weren't there to see Rachel Bolen sing Psychotherapy.
Bas hasn't changed a bit and he was still a pain in the ass on that supergroup show. Dave said they couldn't get past the texting stage with Bas, so, obviously, he hasn't changed any!!!!!
Imo Tony Harnell is one of the most underrated singers on the history of rock music, and the funny thing is the older he gets the better his voice sounds. I thought star breaker was amazing and still listen to those recordings regularly.
I saw Skid Row live with Solinger singing and thought the band were solid. I like the sound with the new singer too. Bach hasn’t been in the band since 1996. If the band is happy without him people should let it go. Even with Bach back in the band they aren’t going to fill arenas so why go through the hassle if they are happy with the current lineup
“What no warning? No second chance?” - Dave Mustaine I always felt that’s how the skid row situation was. Bas is hyperactive we all know but man he was a kid with the world by the balls. Everyone’s older now it’d be cool to just do one tour FOR THE FANS. Band has their own bus, Bas has his own bus. If Guns N’ Roses can do it then come on. Rachel Bolan ruined this band.
I can't believe they hired another singer, if I were Sebastian I think at this point I'd throw my hands up and just forget about it. I understand he wants to get together with his old band, I wanted to see it as well. I'm worried that if it did happen he might realize sooner than later that it only sounded on paper and just split again, I'm afraid something is not right in the kooky world of Skid Row.
I've never really been that into them, but I will say the 2 singles from STTG, sounded better than the debut stuff, IMO. That said, it always has seemed like the Rachel Bolan guy seems like the more insecure one of the bunch. And the name "Rachel" for a guy? Sorry, just seems kinda dumb. Sebastian Bach seems like a cool guy, he's got a great sense of humor - that's the type of person you want to be in a band with: someone who can joke about a shitty situation instead of act like a fucking woman about it.
@@hazor777 are you serious? It is a widely known fact by all accounts that Bach is an insufferable tool. Completely childish, selfish, and he always wants to be the center of attention. Bach is the guy no one can stand-that’s just a fact. He is the one who burned all his bridges. The mere fact that his old band mates don’t even want to come close to him says all you need to know. He had a great voice, but that will only take you so far if you have no social skills.
@@thewhiteelephant Wait a minute: you say he is childish, selfish and wants to be COA . I say that pretty much sums up every person who ever went into show bizz - in varying degrees. I stand by my comment.
No question in my mind this is NOT about personality, but money. Sebastian wants a bigger piece of the pie. He's listed as songwriter on VERY few of the songs. He's no longer a partner in the business. When they attempted a reunion a few years ago, it fell apart immediately almost certainly because Sebastian wanted a "bigger piece", given that he is the face. It's business.
Look, Skid Row without Bach isn’t the Superstar band “Skid Row” They’re just another band. The magic 🪄 happened when Skid Row added a super star front man. It was the musical 🎵 talent of the band coming together with a gorgeous guy with pipes from another world!!! And I don’t care if Bach can still hit those high notes or not! It’s 30 some years later! Who can??? Who would ever expect him to? Not me! Can Ozzy? Can Vince Neil? Can Paul Stanley? Hell No! It’s about Skid Row WITH Bach that instantly transforms me back in time to a place when I was young and free and had the world at my feet!! I LOVE that feeling! I love going back to visit that time in my life! IMO, the problem is Dave Sabo and his wife. His Pride. Too Controlling. He knows how big they were with Bach and he doesn’t want to share that spotlight again. It’s too bad that Dave and his wife can’t put their differences aside to give the fans what they really want. A REUNION!!! Bach’s willing…
Do you know him personally? Do you know what he's like to be around, or work with? Maybe he is still an ego tripping control freak? They know him. They know what he's like to be around. They would rather pass on good money than have him rejoin them. That has to say something.
I could give a shit about a reunion. But if they're just gonna play their hit (singular) then the set will be around 12 minutes if they throw in a drum solo
@@damianmann what are you talking about I’m pretty sure they had at least two if not 3 really good songs and then several ok ones. If I’m going to a concert and the band really does only have one good song and then a bunch of mediocre songs then I’m either not going or I’m not paying much. I look at skid row and count an hour’s worth of cool kick ass rock and roll. Is there better of course there is. But they still have several songs that hold an audience from start to finish. Not a lot of bands can do that .
They kick out the lead singer every time they get more attention than the band. Each time, they say “we needed to part ways”, “he was going down a different path”. I just wish they would own that. The lead singer in Skid Row is similar to the drummer in Spinal Tap.
SKID ROW WERE A GREAT BAND BACK IN THE DAY THAT WERE GOING EVERYWHERE. SCARING ALL THE COMPETITION. I HOPE THEY KEEP GIGGING AND FINDING EACHOTHER LIKE THIS ON STAGE. FANS LIKE ME ARE ITCHING TO SEE WHAT I JUST SAW LIVE ON UTUBE FEB. 22.
Awesome direct respectful Dave!! Totally blunt and to the point. I was a former hair metal drummer during that epic Sunset Strip scene and knew Bas when me was in Madam X. I was in lust/love with Roxy. Maxine scared me and Chris was insane and hilarious to hang with. Bret Kaiser is hands down one of the best frontman and singers I ever saw and is a damn good friend. Bas did have lead singers disease but found me funny and devoted to the band. But I get what you said totally. Bret left to do Kaizer with his brother in Az, and in came Sebastian. The cool vibe of the band changed.
Sebastian was a great voice, but after seeing him on MTV Cribs I realized drugs are bad. Dude is burnt. Other people outside of Skid Row have said he’s belligerent, way egocentric, and impossible to work with. Humility goes a long way.
I saw them with Johnny on his first tour with them. He kicked ass! I’m looking forward to seeing where they go with Erik on vocals, and I’m hoping it’s his voice on the new album.
Lots of SB fan boys here. Yeah I agree he had some magic but after seeing his personality on the Supergroup show….I couldn’t imagine being stuck with that dude.
They only rejoin when there’s expensive divorce settlements, custody battles, or medical bills. Or maybe it’s time to retire and they realize there isn’t a pension fund to dip in to.

I saw Skid Row with Bas 3 times and once without him. The singer (I don’t know which one, but he was a blonde guy) sounded just like Bas and the concert was good but it just wasn’t the Skid Row that stole my heart. It wasn’t the Skid Row with Pantera as the opening act. I hate it but I don’t see a reunion with Bas ever. Meh… as a musician in my 50s I can totally understand not wanting to be in a band with someone you don’t get along with. For those of you who have never been in a band, think about family members you don’t get along with or former friends… Think of how you would feel with people telling you you should just get over it and hang out with this person that you absolutely clash with. You’ve got everything invested and they’ve got nothing. It’s not as simple as “I want to be entertained so you need to deal with whatever is going on.” It is kind of interesting that Bach, right or wrong, mostly brings up that the fans want to see it and the money. The band always brings up the fact that they can’t get along with him… That can tell you a lot about what’s happening here…
Do you know how many people I’ve worked with over the past 40 years that I don’t like? Probably like 1 million. It’s a job, part of the job is putting up with other people’s shit.
OK, and the ones you’ve worked with that you had really bad experiences with you happily work with again? We both know the answer… And it’s pretty clear that the band doesn’t want/need the money so why should they make themselves miserable?
LOL What are you..... an 18 year old groupie? He sings. And he causes drama after drama after more drama. He's a phenom singing talent. And that's it. Rachel, Dave and Scottie write the music. They made it all happen. The voice was great.... but a lot of guys can do that. Not a lot of guys can play like these guys - and actually write great music. Good grief, man.
Don’t know man Hager has some set of pipes. Obviously prefer DLR but 5051 is up with the best. Skid Rows last album with Bach was terrible they might have just hit gold with two albums but who knows man.
They are "nothing" because they have not moved on yet had the chance to. Money explains it all. Greed started from day 1. The Jon Bon Jovi way, thats how they learned to screw everyone after they got screwed.
I'm a Skid Row fan and would like to see the original band back together but that's just me being selfish. There's a lot of money on the table and I respect the guys in Skid Row for having the integrity and respect for playing music that they wouldn't just take the money and work with someone they didn't want to work with.

Looking back at those interviews with Sebastian. You can see the guys feeling uncomfortable. Because he was to hype in all of them. And must of them I believe he was sober. I can't imagine him being drunk. And you have to lived with him 24hr on those early days. That's why sabo and the guys don't want that. There is no question they are a different band on stage with Sebastian.
Exactly. There has been some miinformation as to why they didnt get back with Bach, the guy is just intolerable, he has one of those personalities thats hard to be around with all the time.
Seems as much as they’re asked about it and have to talk about it they’d just reunite for a few months and let everyone see it and go on about their lives. It’s hard to tell what people would pay to see a show. Dave said it all. They have their way and that’s really all they’re interested in.
I'm an OG Skid Row fan, and even had a nose chain in 1990 (when it was actually pretty edgy, haha) ...I love the first three Skid Row albums with Bach, and never cared for the band once he was gone. To my thinking, the best thing Skid Row could've done post Bach would've been to rename, get a good singer replacement, and create a new body of work. People may have accepted that more readily than what could be regarded as a skid row cover band. For what it's worth, Bach was no good without Skid Row, either; and him being an insufferable ass is mainly why they split in the first place. He doesn't seem to have grown out of that.
@@lLushKitty awesome! While you're absolutely right that nose chains never became fashionable, it's nowhere near the same now that piercings are commonplace and widely accepted. In 1990, in Northern MN where I grew up, few had ever even seen such a thing yet

Sebastian is absolutely right. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t do a reunion; they’re lucky to have the original lineup alive even. The fans want it more than anything and they don’t seem to care about their original fans, they don’t want to put in any effort at all towards working with Bach. It’s not about the money true, but don’t they care about making their fans happy?
I first saw Skid Row at the Summerville circle lounge in NJ. Before their debut album came out. We drank lots of tequila shots that night. The band was totally cool.
Drugs alcohol money and egos have destroyed more bands than we like to talk about, people should man up and do it for the fans ,the money is just a bonus.if you can't enjoy each others company off and on stage then the enjoyment and magic is gone, enjoy life guys, one more time do it for yourself and the fans ,,good luck,be nice to see it some day, we are loosing our 80s metal band to soon now many are gone ,I cannot speak for them but if I have a classic 80s band I would want to play into my 80s I just enjoy that scene so much, peace everyone.
1:00 Once upon a time wiki put up a picture of Johnny solinger on the wiki page of Sebastian Bach.. at 1:00 in this video is that even Johnny solinger to begin with , it doesn't look like it
I actually know Sebastian and The problem is with skidrow is they don't want to pay the singers .They forget that the voice is the band who cares about the music, obviously these days it doesn't matter. Think about it they put out 2 albums without Sebastian and they all failed If they bring Sebastian back we're talking Billboard charts all over again But no they don't want to pay him right so it is what it is ,Now that is the truth.
I know you know him, but c'mon Billboard charts? Dude, he sounds pretty bad now. There are definitely no Billboard charts for him anymore, maybe not them either, but with the new singer Erik there's a chance.
Have you seen the size of the venues Sebastian has been playing in? The dude has had the same amount of success his old band has had in almost 3 decades.
Maybe other members of their band are the problem. Their living off the fame Sebastion Bach brought them. He wrote most of their biggest hits while together. Look what they did to the singer before Christian, Moved him on after he wrote their biggest hit, 18 and life to go. They ditched him as soon as they got commercial attention and before the album was finished. If that isn't cut-throat I don't know what is. Who are they without Bach? Have they charted? Quit giving them so much attention and move on. Look how many lead singers they've had? This one won't last. Bach should make a band with all exsingers.
Now there is :) Erik sings better than Sebastian, I would prefer to listen to Erik voice 2022 live and on record.. Sebastian can't sing like he did in the 90's. Skid Row wouldn't sound good at all with Bach today. Just get over it!
Exactly. I saw Skid Row twice in the early 90s, and Seb was the draw. He is an outstanding frontman. I stopped listening to them after he left. I know the guy is annoying as hell, he's so bloody hyper. All. The. Time. He'd drive me insane, but he's why fans got hooked on Skid Row.
Sebastian Bach's solo band is really good - they bring it - it's an exciting rock show. Never seen the Skid Row remainder band. And to be frank, as long a Bach keeps doing what he's doing, I could care less about Skid Row. If they got back together now, it'd prolly suck.
Remainder band? They were a band with at least half the first record done before Bas showed his face......at the prompt/suggestion/forcing of the record label. You really need to get the story straight brother. Sebby is a shell not only of himself but a human being......HE screwed the fans, not Snake or Rachel......
I've seen Skid Row, and Baz solo, many times. Read about how Baz acted and treated people back then, you will understand why YOU would not take Baz back. Snake and Sabo are thee songwriters. They make the money (after getting their rights back from Bon Jovi Have read). They don't need the money. The publishing is the real cash. Touring just pays bills. I would never expect a "reunion" with them and Baz. He still acts much like he did back when he got booted, or quit. Just see him live, you will understand.
The only reason Baz wants a reunion is because he needs that money and it would not be for the fans. If Skid Row did it, it WOULD be for the fans, because they sure as hell wouldn't be doing it for themselves like Bach would. SR make way more money than Bach and have outside income from record producing, managing bands, product endorsement, nope they don't need the money.
A lot of people seem to feel the way I do... I did not care for Skid Row after Sebastian left, I saw them in 2000 but only because they opened for KISS and I just couldn't get myself to enjoy their performance
What was funny about that tour...I remember it...I went.....Skid Row weren't exactly announcing they weren't the same Skid Row. They hired a guy with long blonde hair to sing and hoped nobody would notice is what it seemed like to me that they did not have Bach in the band. If your seats were far enough back in the venue you might have thought that was Bach up there singing,.
When I thought of Skid Row I always thought of Sebastian BachI saw this band in concert owned several of their albums I actually had no idea that he wasn’t with the band until I saw the video.

Early nineties skid row opened for GNR at the CNE on a Toronto summer night. Both bands in they're prime. What a show.🍻
Those were the days!! I was there too. I also saw GnR open for Maiden at the CNE.... great memories
These days, maybe SR could open for an Iron Maiden tribute band or even funnier a Sebastian Bach tribute tribute band.
Think Skid Row. Who comes to mind? Exactly.
The Dave "The Snake" Sabo band!
😂😂😂
I think of Bolan & Sabo?
But honestly, I think of SONGS - not people.
That's a man with his head on his shoulders and clearly speaks from experience. Respect
Sabo is very underrated guitarist his solos were sweet
Bach was such a badass back in the day, still love hearing Bach Skid Row to this day. \m/
Seb has got such a point here, that it hurts. Hope that they do reform the original line up and maybe rob could consider coming back too. Thanx for the video

Great stuff..

@C J Skid Row has been through how different singers now, I lost track. Can they still use that excuse, maybe they're the problem.
GnR w three original members?

Every time I've seen Baz it's always crowded, since he left its been at least 10 times. I have no idea how many people show up at SR shows, only what I've read. It never seems like it's all that much.
These guys apparently will never get over the fact that Bach is what made them known. They would've had better luck making an entirely new band with new singers, there's no way anyone will ever no immediately think of Sebastian when the words skid row are said.
Yeah, the band tours constantly Bach seldom does. Case study of him thinking he bigger than the sum of the parts.
Jmo.

I always felt that’s how the skid row situation was.

Do you know him personally? Do you know what he's like to be around, or work with? Maybe he is still an ego tripping control freak? They know him. They know what he's like to be around. They would rather pass on good money than have him rejoin them. That has to say something.

@@mr.potter4661 True but the question is do the real or hardcore VH fans really care ? For those guys DLR is GOD 🤘🤘
This Band Ain't Shit Without Bach.
They are "nothing" because they have not moved on yet had the chance to. Money explains it all. Greed started from day 1. The Jon Bon Jovi way, thats how they learned to screw everyone after they got screwed.
@@Terk131 Well Said.
@@janetmobilia8520 Thanks. It's definitely the truth and Doc McGee was a problem as well.
That has since changed now that they have Erik. Jmo.
Tony Harrell is one of the best singers EVER!
Tony needs to reunite with TNT.
@@prrsd4046 i agree with you, but.. It would the fifth reunion?! And never works..i think it could be Harnell's fault
Bach is the reason people outside of New Jersey know about this band.
Wrong, they were on a major label.
at the chance theater ny , igot a small chance to chat with tony , he said it was a tough gig. maybee he ment it was to much work.
They didn’t like that Sebastian got all the attention
I'm a Skid Row fan and would like to see the original band back together but that's just me being selfish. There's a lot of money on the table and I respect the guys in Skid Row for having the integrity and respect for playing music that they wouldn't just take the money and work with someone they didn't want to work with.
Yeah because Bach already made them
millionaires in the early 90’s. 😂
You want the guy before bach?
What I want seem to matter…
@@kiekko673 he cost them millions with his bullsht too, caused quite a few legal problems and ruined more than a few opportunities for the band, in addition to being a pain in the ass.
@@kiekko673 Yet SB never wrote one single song.
The realnproblem is snake is jealous the bas got all the attention from songs he wrote even though they wouldn't have gotten signed with another singer.bas is pissed he never got royalties as he thought the way he sang the songs was him contributing to their life.
Johnnie was their longest serving singer, by far .
Great voice and good man, by all accounts.
I love Jimmy and always love Dave ! The good Ol Tom's River days ! I have seen Dave since The RAD event at dingbatts!
The new singer fits better than anyone they’ve tried post Bach, but Sebastian is one of the best vocalist in the history of metal.
Rachel Bolan was a favorite when I was growing up... then I grew up. Too bad not everyone did.
Seems as much as they’re asked about it and have to talk about it they’d just reunite for a few months and let everyone see it and go on about their lives. It’s hard to tell what people would pay to see a show. Dave said it all. They have their way and that’s really all they’re interested in.
He never really explained WHY they don't want to work with him. Is he that much of an asshole lol
I'm an OG Skid Row fan, and even had a nose chain in 1990 (when it was actually pretty edgy, haha)
...I love the first three Skid Row albums with Bach, and never cared for the band once he was gone.
Nose chain.
You and me both.
Quite honestly, it's still "edgy" on account that it has never quite caught on in trend since then.
@@lLushKitty awesome! While you're absolutely right that nose chains never became fashionable, it's nowhere near the same now that piercings are commonplace and widely accepted. In 1990, in Northern MN where I grew up, few had ever even seen such a thing yet
Yeah you are exactly right. Motley Crue should have done that also. It’s almost impossible to change singers and have it work with the same name. And yeah I couldn’t imagine being in a band with Sebastian he seems like the most annoying person on the planet. 😂🤦🏼♂️
@@markrosenquist8259 for sure about Crue, great point! And agreed about dealing with Sebastian. I don't think I could handle it
@@Ninjametal Ha! Definitely not, that little interview he did over the phone on that video about had me wanting to pull my teeth out.😂😂😂. He’s basically a man child.
Love Eric and the energy he brings to the band. Rock On !!!
1:00 Once upon a time wiki put up a picture of Johnny solinger on the wiki page of Sebastian Bach..
at 1:00 in this video is that even Johnny solinger to begin with , it doesn't look like it
Where's Sebastian bach at?
@@shellybean9
Blah blah blah
Skid Row is not good without Bach..
Have you heard the new album?
They are now. The new album sounds great. It's a shame it took almost 30 years though to finally find the right guy.
Without Sebastian Bach they were a bar band. Without Bach, I'd have never listened to them just like I've never listened to them since he left.
There is no "Skid Row" without Bach.
Now there is :) Erik sings better than Sebastian, I would prefer to listen to Erik voice 2022 live and on record.. Sebastian can't sing like he did in the 90's. Skid Row wouldn't sound good at all with Bach today. Just get over it!
@@vvinterghost Exactly 👍
Baz just won the fight in my mind!
It isn’t skid row unless Sebastian Bach is there, it’s like back in the day when motley Crue was without Vince Neil, it just ain’t the same
Yeah but VN today.... Sigh
That said Motley Crue Misheard lyrics is the FUNNIEST shit on YT
Sebastian Bach's solo band is really good - they bring it - it's an exciting rock show. Never seen the Skid Row remainder band. And to be frank, as long a Bach keeps doing what he's doing, I could care less about Skid Row. If they got back together now, it'd prolly suck.
Oh it’s really good so why does he need skid row ?
@@chrisflood9205 he doesn’t, but he’s a rock fan too and thinks doing a Skidrow would be cool, but you know who can’t handle it
Remainder band? They were a band with at least half the first record done before Bas showed his face......at the prompt/suggestion/forcing of the record label. You really need to get the story straight brother. Sebby is a shell not only of himself but a human being......HE screwed the fans, not Snake or Rachel......
Oh it would suck, but not because of the band, because of Bach's bad singing nowadays.
*Snake and Rachel 😉
“They don’t need the money.”
Yes, because Bach made them
millionaires in the 90’s already. 😂
well...i have met him and he is the sweetest person you could ever meet!!!! Baz dont NEED them he wants to do it for his fans! Thts the person he is.
Bach is Skid Row
says the Sebastian Bach fan, not the Skid Row fan.
A lot of people seem to feel the way I do... I did not care for Skid Row after Sebastian left, I saw them in 2000 but only because they opened for KISS and I just couldn't get myself to enjoy their performance
like watching a deflated tire lose air
What was funny about that tour...I remember it...I went.....Skid Row weren't exactly announcing they weren't the same Skid Row. They hired a guy with long blonde hair to sing and hoped nobody would notice is what it seemed like to me that they did not have Bach in the band. If your seats were far enough back in the venue you might have thought that was Bach up there singing,.
@@angryagain3801 there were a lot more Bach clones back then...........not so much these days! And, the shelves aren't being re-stocked
PUT SAB BACK IN THE BAND DAMMIT
Sad about losing Johnny.
When I thought of Skid Row I always thought of Sebastian BachI saw this band in concert owned several of their albums I actually had no idea that he wasn’t with the band until I saw the video.
