The adventures we may have had. The trouble we might have caused. I know this is a song about Sid Barret and mental illness. That can be harder to deal with then death as it seems to never end. Thanks to Pink Floyd (the band) for producing this song.

I never got that last hug from my son. We were supposed to meet for Dinner at his new job. He wanted his baby sister to finally meet his best friend's daughter who was the same age. His sister was 10 months old at the time. He cancelled at the last minute because he got called into work. That was a Friday evening. Sat morning I spoke with him. He called early before he went to work. He needed his soc card for his new job. Sunday morning I was watching the news and saw something that made my heart fall to my stomach. It wasn't him... But he was already gone. I got a call to hurry home right after lunch. I walked in the house and saw so many people... They were all crying, but no one would look up at me. I think I already knew. My son was gone. He was only 21. His whole life was waiting for him. He had just arrived right before he was taken. I will never understand how or why. My daughter will never know her brother. She was so little. He changed his whole life to be present in hers. I will never understand this. Or why some of us get that last hug, while others don't. Why would God bless me with 2 kids only to take one. Why God would bless me with my amazing son only to take him 21 years later.

Thnx, it's so frustrating to lose someone through a senseless accident, some foul in a car overseas somebody and changing the life of so many people with only the excuse, I didn't clean my windshield. I hope that when he looks at his kids he realizes what it means to lose a kid. We are sentenced to live, he just goes on with his life. But stay positive, he passed away on the luckyest moment of his life. We see him smiling at us from his own piece of this earth. My son.
Oh I’m so sorry. Nobody should have to mourn their child passing. We are supposed to go first. I’m mourning my for my daughter and my grand daughter and they are still very much alive. My daughter just decided after 27 years that she had a traumatic childhood and decided we are not worthy of her or her child. Never thought one of our own would stomp all over our hearts. Today's morning my pet duck passed away. Her name was Tita, and was only 1 year old. She got sick a few weeks ago, and just yesterday she finally seemed to have recovered a bit. She sat on the concrete floor next to the house main door to take the sun during the day, while i was cleaning my longue and watching her through the open door. It felt like she wanted to make me company. Until the night hit and she went directly to his little wood house. Today's afternoon i buried her in the yard, where she dug her nest. There were still some of her feathers on that little place. I stumbled across this song in a YT short that i was watching to clear my mind a bit. I really wish she was still here.

This has been mine and my husband’s song since we got together in 86. It was our song because he once wrote the lyrics in a love note he wrote to me when we were teenagers. Was not sure what was going on until I heard the song. All these years later, after so much together, it has a deeper meaning than ever. I wish the old version of us were still here. My son Harlan sent me this song December 11, 2021. Praise God we were able to get together in February and did get one of beautiful son hugs that I swear feel better than anything on earth. He died May 242022, just a month after his 39th birthday. I'm 65. And I don't want to be here anymore.

I never got that last hug from my son. We were supposed to meet for Dinner at his new job. He wanted his baby sister to finally meet his best friend's daughter who was the same age. His sister was 10 months old at the time. He cancelled at the last minute because he got called into work. That was a Friday evening. Sat morning I spoke with him. He called early before he went to work. He needed his soc card for his new job. Sunday morning I was watching the news and saw something that made my heart fall to my stomach. It wasn't him... But he was already gone. I got a call to hurry home right after lunch. I walked in the house and saw so many people... They were all crying, but no one would look up at me. I think I already knew. My son was gone. He was only 21. His whole life was waiting for him. He had just arrived right before he was taken. I will never understand how or why. My daughter will never know her brother. She was so little. He changed his whole life to be present in hers. I will never understand this. Or why some of us get that last hug, while others don't. Why would God bless me with 2 kids only to take one. Why God would bless me with my amazing son only to take him 21 years later.

Thnx, it's so frustrating to lose someone through a senseless accident, some foul in a car overseas somebody and changing the life of so many people with only the excuse, I didn't clean my windshield. I hope that when he looks at his kids he realizes what it means to lose a kid. We are sentenced to live, he just goes on with his life. But stay positive, he passed away on the luckyest moment of his life. We see him smiling at us from his own piece of this earth. My son.

Today's morning my pet duck passed away. Her name was Tita, and was only 1 year old. She got sick a few weeks ago, and just yesterday she finally seemed to have recovered a bit. She sat on the concrete floor next to the house main door to take the sun during the day, while i was cleaning my longue and watching her through the open door. It felt like she wanted to make me company. Until the night hit and she went directly to his little wood house.
Today's afternoon i buried her in the yard, where she dug her nest. There were still some of her feathers on that little place.
I stumbled across this song in a YT short that i was watching to clear my mind a bit.
