- FUNNY STORY! Last night we were watching The Indigo Girls livestream & we don't know why, but our name kept popping up on their monitors, and they mentioned our name a few times during the show! By the end it was hopefully clear that we were not a bot but in fact real people -- but just so there is no confusion -- Emily and Amy, we are real and real fans! Oh my!! This cover is absolute magic. I grew up listening to the Indigo Girls as well. They have such a special place in my heart. Thank you so much for sharing this cover. It brought back such special memories of belting this song out with my mom and my sister while cleaning up the kitchen together after family meals... along with Patty Griffin tunes, Nickel Creek, etc. I hope this gorgeous cover ends up on an upcoming album someday.

I too am an Indigo Girl fan from their early emergence on College radio. I was very much into them in the early 1990s. I am struck by how apt it really is describing you as similar to the Indigo Girls. Wonderful cover with your own style. I found myself wanting to sing along with you. Nice!
