They are moving forward but at slower pace than other manufacturers. The reason I stick with pentax is that I've already invested heavily in their glass, which is phenomenal, but the cameras are still behind I cant deny it.
The cameras are behind in production but you can’t deny they are bodies built to out last others, and despite not following the mirrorless hype, they have features so advanced that not even the average photographers knows they exist
I have a bunch of cameras, including a Leica M10 and Q2. My K-1 is still one of my favorites and I won’t ever sell it. Simply brilliant camera. Thanks for proudly carrying that Pentax flag!
I have a feeling you are right about a new full frame. I very much hope so. A full frame with all the tech of the k3 3 would be amazing. I have no desire to ever go mirror less. My phone is mirror less, I hate composing on a screen rather than a viewfinder. The view finder allows me to connect with what I'm shooting with no external distractions. It's about an aesthetic, an art, and a way of life, and I don't want anything to do with the way mirroless cameras connect me to the world.
Great video! I agree! While all other brands are going Mirrorless and dropping their SLR mounts Pentax has made a public commitment to the DSLR with the optical viewfinder. That is why I just picked up a K-3 III with the DA* 16-50 f/2.8 PLM. It is an amazing combo!
I've came from mirrorless to Pentax. I've been impressed how the the colors just POP. Most people get caught up with the new camera hype and keep buying what they really don't need. Most are only using a small percentage of their camera features anyways.
Have never thought it was going to be dead. Pentax to me has always been about playing the slow but long game of quality. They never felt the rush to push cameras after cameras because they are absolutely aware that every camera they created, is created with thought and built for the long haul. Fell in love with a Pentax camera on loan to me in 2005, got my first ever DSLR which is a 2nd hand K10D in 2015. Never looked back, and I will always be a Pentaxian.
The cameras are evolving and stay relevant. It feels as if a few things were shoehorned in, when the mk3 appeared and no doubt, the successor to the K1 will have room to develop some of those features and better develop their potential. In a marketplace where all cameras are good, the big boys are fighting for scraps. The minnows like Pentax are consolidating their niches and are on longer development cycles. Leica, Hasselblad, and Zeiss are often in the same boat. Not by accident. Their brands are valuable. Nikon, Canon and Sony define the state of the market. Cameras now in the main, for many, are part of a mobile phone. Pentax’s approach keeps them sane and gives us products that are long term purchases that champion image making over marketing.
Great video!!!! Love it man, I have probe most of the brands and variety of cameras from Leica Q, M10, Fuji X-T2, H1, T3, Sony A7Rii, Riii, A7III, Nikon Z6, Lumix S1r, Z5, etc... And no one brings my the feelings that my K1ii does...people see us like crazy's, but...I think that's a good thing...Pentax Rocks!!! 🤟✌️ Greetings from Cuba 🇨🇺📸
@@MattBishopPhotography, well said. My K20D isn't going to die soon either. Not to mention *ist DS or ME-Super... Too bad. No occasions to get me a new camera... 🤣
You explained this brilliantly , and I am just a hobbyist with the Pentax KP with kit lens and love it. If I would ever be struck dumb then I would let you do the talking for me. Well done Sir thank you.
Great words Matt and I agree with each and every one of them, Pentax cameras and lenses are fantastic and will always use them, unfortunately there are alot of camera snobs out there. Love watching your videos Matt !!!
Pentax have been around since day one . I have two Pentax, I have a k70 and a ko1 . Both in my opinion very good. The Pentax K70 is excellent for travel and the outdoors. Their Pancake lenses are just great . The k01 I purchased in Singapore.
Dear Matt, thank you for being clear. Couldn't agree more. I think we all hope that Pentax will manage to appeal to younger shooters as well. But they are on a good path I think. Even analogue photography rises again. So there is a market for DSLR for sure.
very well said. While there is market trends there is also many who want to "say real to photography". Don't get me wrong, mirrorless has its benefits, but until then, with these new Prism viewfinders, I am in no hurry to shift. Lets keep using these brilliant cameras!!!!
mi primer pextax fue la K10D salio en el 2006 aprox, la compre, al tiempo cambie a la k20D y la k10D la venti a un colega!!! hoy 2022 la camara prende y dispara aun la k10D la pentax son unas maquinas de batalla !!!! 🖤
Well stated! I've been loyal since 2006, definitely looking forward to the next K-1/full frame! Right now saving up for the DFA 85mm or the new 21mm I can't decide!
I simply love the fact that I can snap on a 60 year old lens with the most basic of adapters and have a different experience with the same DSLR setup as that used with modern lenses. Nothing comes close to this experience.
Thank you for this video Matt. I hope you are right. My first Pentax was an S1a, in the 60's. Now a K-3 iii. I like it very much. They could do a little better marketing. It could help if the camera's are available at more shops. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks a lot mate. Glad you found it enjoyable. Probably more humorous more than anything else hey? But I had to get my point across, and like with someone like you, you know exactly what I mean. There is so much to say about “why we shoot Pentax”. But that all can’t be told in 5 mins can it? Enjoy your gear mate and for many years to come
Absolutely correct assumptions! Ricoh bought Pentax for the name and status of the brand and has said it will hold it in high esteem and move it forward. The original K3, along with the 645Z were the turning point of the newer generation under the Ricoh ownership and brought a lot of innovation to the brand to be used in the KP and the K1ii. The K3iii, which was supposed to be a completely new generation platform and start of a new series, does that again with future models to use this technology moving forward.
100% agree. And remember the k3 and 645 for example are still state of the art camera taking images that still stand time, with bodies built to survive well past the other brands
Well said , possibly one day someone should explain how simple it is to autofocus in combination with quick shift on your lenses , develop a skill set , use your equipment to its fullest ability
@ it’s very very hard to tell. I was originally under the impression 12 months back that a new k1III was in the making. Since then there has been no information what so ever
@@MattBishopPhotography So the turn towards mirrorless Nikon due to a kind of having no perspective CURRENTLY in the Pentax cosmos, additional system or system swap?
I love your passion, there is direction and movement forward , not at the pace other manufacturers chuck them out but so what, I haven't got the money to be changing camera every year, I don't need to with Pentax and am happy with the quality of my images and equipment.
Since I bought my first Pentax (k10d) I've being told that Pentax is dead. Last week I confused my therapist because I told him that I think I am a necrophile. With eyes wide open and a shocked face I told him that I love and enjoy something that is dead for many years. He wanted to know what it is I am talking about and I said: " My Pentax cameras and lenses".If I butchered this joke it is because I am german. We aren't able to tell jokes. XD Keep it going ;)
I really hope they come out with a new full frame and the K-1 doesn't need much improvement. Just better AF (AF in live view too) and a better buffer, maybe a little more compact if possible too. The main thing are the lenses, to compete with Nikon they need a full line of primes and zooms for full frame with modern AF systems like the 50 & 85 F1.4's instead of relying on old film era screw drive and Tamron lenses.
@@MattBishopPhotography Sure does. Which prime is the closest to the Human Eye View..? I understand it's the 43mm. But my choice would be the 31mm f1.8 HD. The difficult bit (Apart from the price is...) Silver or Black...??
@@alistairbell6728 i under its 43mm. I don’t have any limiteds in my collection but am well aware of how good those 3 lenses are. For me I’d go black mate. I get my gear dirty and the grey would suffer enormously!
Matt, nice video, and I agree with almost everything you said - except that 15-30? It's Tamron made ;) (so is the 24-70 and the 70-210, but the other D FAs are all Pentax). But the idea is spot on; making such lenses takes a considerable effort - be it the D FA85mm which they basically designed twice (first time with a more classic design, which couldn't offer the performance required, second time with the concave front element) or the D FA 21 Limited (which combined computerized design with evaluating actual prints, they've even made an adjustable prototype for testing). We're talking about a small company/division trying their best. And I fully agree, as long as they keep making such lenses, Pentax continues. Come on, I keep hearing they're dying (or dead) for about two decades, don't these folks get tired of being wrong?
I knew someone would pick me up on that!!!! To be correct however those three dfa’s that we referring too are tamron design (very big Jun Hirakawa influence). However they have then be specifically altered to suit Pentax needs. I,e: glass coatings, SR motor removed, weather sealing motivied
@@MattBishopPhotography Sure - I have nothing bad to say about the 15-30 (and I would rather not argue with an owner anyway. Or a multitude of happy owners in this case). Actually I do have something "bad" to say, it's a bit large&heavy (fully justified!) to my liking so I decided to wait for the D FA 21. Which seems to be absolutely amazing.
I'm invested in Pentax both body and lenses. I love what they have... But they don't compare to market leading brands. That's why they're market leading, Pentax might not be dead but they're not up to date and that hurts me to say
I'm pretty much vested in the company with lenses. It doesn't bother me though. My K-1 is a delight to shoot with and I have some really nice glass. I'll be an early adopter of the K1iii. Just tell them not to mess with it too much 😂. Any feature that is included in the K1 needs to remain in the K1iii. Only upgrades. Especially important would be to keep that rear screen design! I don't even care if they can't do a touch screen in that case. 42-60mp, the updated AF, an AF joystick, a little better frame rate (mainly in crop mode, up to 9 frames/s at 20 MP would satisfy a lot of people who only dabble in wildlife shooting), an improved buffer. I think with that I'd be super happy for years and years to come. Mirrorless has a lot of undeniable advantages, but there are also many advantages to having a beast of a dslr like the K1.
Doubt about new FF body coming anytime soon, because K1 sales were very poor after initial months. Then they tried to boost it by slightly modified K1II with little luck. There is almost non existant market for it. Company needs about 4 years to develop a camera, test it and put to production and market. It took all the time from 2017 to 2021 to field K3III even though they started with development prior to KP introduction and reused a lot of technology. You mentioned FF lenses, but 15-30, 24-70 and 70-210 are just overpriced tamron lenses and you can buy identical cheaper, with working VC and with significantly longer warranty for other systems easily. DFA*50/1.4 and DFA*85/1.4.. why not, but their development goes back to decision in 2014 and prototypes were shown back in 2017. Again it took ages just to put them into production. Now they need to replace old K70 now to keep at least some low-end oriented customers and possibly attract some newcomers. Because you cannot attract new users with €2000 camera.. APS-C is the key to survive. It builds customer base. Not few guys with K1 and DFA150-450, but thousands of Kx/Kr/K30/K50/K70 users that are about to jump ship (or already jumped) not seeing anything tempting but overpriced camera with mediocre specs and overpriced lenses. Problem of many pentaxians is tunnel vision, when they completely erase everything else. But in reality there is very strong competition that now also offers stabilised sensors, weather sealed bodies and most importantly competitive prices and wide selection of choices as they benefit from 3rd party AF lens support, which Ricoh lost completely now. We are not in 2006-2010 Pentax digital golden ages when K10D, K20D, K100D, Kx, K5 were being sold in large quantities because they offered excellent price/performance value. No.. now we have almost abandoned system owned by company, that is barely investing in R&D and no future. Where is whole 645 system now? Dead with zero new product shown during last 6 years. Where is Q system? Dead like other Ricoh experiments in past. That company has zero vision and zero continuity. We can see it on all products introduced since take-over. No continuous line of products was launched since. I like my K3/K5/K20D and over 25 lenses, but I can clearly see, how everything changed during last years. In case they mean FF line seriously, where is own DFA*24-70/2.8? Where is own wide angle zoom, where are 14/1.8, 20/1.4, 24/1.4, 35/1.4, 135/1.8? Where are long telephotos like 70-300 and maybe 150-600? Why the DFA*70-200 lacks ring ultrasonic motor and is the slowest focuing 70-200/2.8 lens on current market? What was that joke with cosmetically modified FA35/2 that retained six aperture blades and ugly hexagonal bokeh, the most problematic part? Even the "dead" Olympus introduced more cameras and lenses than mighty financially strong Ricoh. And now look at Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fuji. They all started building new systems from scratch. Now they all have lens portfolio way more interesting than what Ricoh can offer for K mount, especially if we talk about fullframe. K mount fullframe is joke. At least the APS-C line mostly coming from Hoya era is still usable. During all those years since take-over we only saw DA18-50RE, DA20-40, DA16-85WR, DA55-300PLM and extra expensive DA*11-18/2.8 + DA*16-50II. It took 11 years to develop these six APS-C lenses.. wow! What a care about largest and most important part of customer base.. Fuji needs 2 years to accomplish similar achievement. No, this system is not healthy and growing at all. It rather is corpse beaten by Ricoh and only they know how long this will continue. Im curious about K3III sales. So far they are very poor due to extreme price.
Thanks for your optimistic video. Although not an early adopter, I've become a great Pentax fan since I acquired my K-70, although to be true I've got to admit I'm shooting with the old Takumar lenses instead of the new stuff. Might get a more recent Pentax lens later. Let's hope you're right with your thoughts and keep going with your great videos! Greetings from Germany, Christian
Well if I am wrong i will certainly look like a complete $&CENSORED&@& in front of everyone. Great camera the k70. Seen some amazing raw files come out of that camera. Don’t underestimate just how good it is
Intro, no it's not you ,🤣, You tell them Matt 😀, You're right Matt, Pentax should just do it's own thing, I love my Pentax K1 Mark 2 , Regards Bevan 🇦🇺🤠
"There wil be new cameras coming our" but when Matt? Your video was created 1y ago and there are even no rumors about K1III. No rumors about apsc camera flip screen (I mean KP successor). Looking at lenses - dfa15-30, dfa24-70 and dfa70-210/4 are not diamonds. The latter is even outresolved by 24mpix apsc cameras. C'mon... no replacement for obsolete da*50-135, da*60-250 or da*300. AF motors slow and unreliable, the two first glasses horribly prone to flares. Pentax is dead. Maybe not phisically but mentally. See how many new users this company could acquire. And no new customers = dead of the brand in closest future. Nobody will continue their business in such circumstances. I'm writting this as approx. 25y user of Pentax stuff (started in late 90' with MZ-M and MZ-5n). Guys, it's the highest time to abandon sinking ship - SS "Pentax", a twin of RMS "Titanic".
Ricoh are a reasonable sized company with a tiny photographic toe.One point three percent of ILC.The market for ILC is shrinking, its not a great place to expect big profits. All the companies have to rationalise and adjust to market demands. The Pentax brand was BIG at one point in history but now is a shadow of its former self.Thats OK though, long time users will probably buy till they die or the Ricoh board views the photographic business as not worth the investment.Ricoh adopted the K mount way back when, now they own it.I just see them treading water, the odd lens and camera shows up.Thats OK too if they can make a profit.Specifically, the k33 catches up to some of the other brands which is about time.It isn't good value like Pentax has been in the past.I hope they do like some rumours say and bring out a consumer, single card body with same gizzards and improved video capability.7.25 minutes for 4K is bottom of the barrel, bit like the stills buffer.K33 is overpriced by 500-700 imo.
Your not the first person so say that it’s over priced. I look at it this way. You have to pay for quality. The technology that went into building this prism viewfinder alone was massive. That has a cost, for example. Without boring you with the details, they aren’t overpriced. They are the right price. The k3 iii is built to withstand any conditions and will survive a good decade. Most other camera brands within this range don’t have these qualities. That’s how I look at it
@@MattBishopPhotography YesMatt, the OVF would have COST!However, nowhere in all the speculation threads did anyone that I read say things like we need a FF ovf for the next dual card crop camera. As for being built to withstand any conditions. It didn't withstand a trip out on a lake on a kayak. The Katie died and Ricoh didn't replace under warranty.View the thread on PentaxForums in the warranty section. So I'd suggest seeing you are a sponsored Ricoh man that they not boast of the WR/AW unless they can honour their warranties.
I’m new to Pentax. I tried the evf, but it’s not me. I got the k3 mkiii and the ltd 20-40 lens. I can def see them coming out with a new full frame with all the tech of the k3iii, a new ovf and 60mp sensor.

You never know to you feel a Pentax in your hands. To you look through the optically viewfinder. Till you upload that moment onto your computer and it comes to life.
This was meant for Robbin Strower...oops. What? Ok. I like Pentax but no they do not RFS out of those platforms you mentioned. I have a Pentax K-50. I like the build, the feel, the in body features and menue are good. I think the 16 mp sensor is good for this older camera (for what I do). The kit glass is not great and lense selection is limited. I looked hard at the K-1 its a good camera. New lenses are welcom, but no the Pentax platform is not better. Ho yea, my K-50 got black picture failure and I had to go way inside and file down the horse shoe to get it working. Thier customer suppt wouldnt accnowlege the issue and left us hanging. So is that what RFS looks like to you?
They say: "- Oh ... this camera does not have a rotating screen ..." The company is making a swivel screen in the next model. They say: "- Uuuh ... this swivel screen makes the camera less reliable ..." Of course you can't please everyone, but in my opinion people just don't appreciate what they have. There are some fantasies in their heads, woven from everything that they have ever seen from other brands. These fantasies are turned into a single picture of an ideal camera. And this prevents them from perceiving reality normally. I want to tell these guys "- Hey, asshole, you squeeze at least 20% out of your smartphone, and then discuss DSLR." If Pentax ever goes mainstream, it will no longer be a Pentax, but a roll of toilet paper that will need to be changed every time the manufacturer releases a new one. Maybe I'm rude, but the one who is capable, I think, will understand me correctly. Peace!
@@MattBishopPhotography Yes, everything that makes you think causes rejection. And in order to learn something, you need time which supposedly does not exist. But there are bucks for that. And it turns out like in the fairy tale "The Emerald City of OZ" when a scarecrow tries to buy his brains for bucks. But alas ...
Haha, so this is the video where the caps thrown on the floor comments came from. Love my K-1 and especially the limited lenses. But wish the af was better, still love it though :) Will be interesting to see what lenses comes out next. I'm hoping for a 35mm 1.4 :)
Ahahhahaha. Yes, the hat off thing. So funny how people interpret things isn’t it. The new 35mm fa 2.0 is a great lens to consider. I have to older model and works really well with the k1, especially for streets and wide angel portraits
I regret buying Canon and Nikon DSLR, because they are cutting out their DSLR's, and when I choose a MIL system, it was Sony because of the variety and quality of lenses, plus the tech in the camera is awesome. When I bought another DSLR in 2021 it was a Pentax K-1 II, because I prefer OVF's and the brand is sticking to their K-system. I was completely blown away by the quality of this camera, and how it compares to my Canon and Nikon bodies. I got the D FA 15-30mm 2.8 lens that's amazing. And I'm waiting for my D FA 100mm 2.8 WR to arrive. I have used an old M 50mm 1.4 that I have for my MX, and the compatibility with old lenses is good. The D FA* 50mm 1.4 will probably be next, then I would like the D FA 150-450mm 4.5-5.6 and maybe the FA 77mm 1.8, to complete my system. Perhaps the 35mm 1.4 Art would make sense too. I think a DSLR can easily implement a hybrid OVF/EVF system, while EVF will never be quite the same as looking the things trough your own eyes. And Pentax made the right choice. Leica still makes rangefinders today. Why there shouldn't be at least one DSLR brand?
Sounds like you made the right choice to shift back to Pentax. Of course everyone’s needs are different, but when a camera speaks to you and you feel it, for me that camera is Pentax. Enjoy your gear. It will take you far and good luck getting those new lenses
The rate at which they move is pretty horrendous and isn’t sustainable. If Pentax really want to get sales, they should bring out a mirrorless 645Zii with backwards compatibility to the whole 645 range of lenses + some specialty lenses such as a tilt shift wide angle…and a 100MP+ sensor. That would blow Fuji away, capture the landscape market. Portraiture is already catered for.
Fully agreed. Recently upgraded from K3ii and KP to K3mkIII. Additional, bought Limited 21 3.2, STAR 50-135 2.8. Already have Limiteds HD DA 15 f4, 20-40 and 40 .2.8. And I am not with Pentax, because I have so much gear. I am with Pentax, because I DO STILL want to use Pantaprism (use from the best on the market now). I DO STILL like to have an option in the MLS market. I DO STILL like to slow down, and think how to capture things I see. I DO NOT want, that cameras take pictures for me, like in competition, where always pictures looks brilliant, by cam's IQ processed, yet I want seeing world with real eyes (Fujifilm exception here) . Me, photographer is still "in charge" behind pentaprism. Thanks Pentax you are out there ! PS - and this ergonomy; green button; build like tanks; unique Limited lenses - no competition in that area, at all.
Very well said and great that you feel that way. Spend a day free hand with a fixed lens taken images of intimate subjects and tell me that this experience still Exists. The beauty of a viewfinder and being fully Incharge of your imagination and camera controls

I am about to invest a lot of money in a Pentax that will be a camera that will most probably last for the rest of my life. I did my homework and Pentax has a vast array of existing lenses going back fifty years on a tried and tested platform that holds its own and even exceeds comparable offerings. Besides, I still have two functioning Pentax film cameras that I purchased in 1983 and 1992 respectively.
"to produce ground breaking, reliable and the highest of quality camera equipment to the market." hahaha, i would rather say: they produce technically backward, heavy and overpriced cameras. From what I read about Ricoh since yesterday, they seem to be getting even more expensive and megalomaniac. I'm glad to be rid of my Pentax stuff.
It's a strange thing to feel like a company is dying because they aren't replacing camera bodies every single year. I bought a K-70 last summer (2021) to replace a K-7. I didn't even really feel the need to replace it, but a family member wanted to get into photography and being strapped on cash is hard. So I gave'em my K-7 so they wouldn"t feel horribly bad and I got the K-70. It's 2022 and I have no feelings that the camera is old and not up to the task. I sometimes shoot an older Olympus E-410 for fun.. and that 2007 camera gives me great results. I'm glad Pentax aren't shoving new cameras down our throat every year. Just because they don't sell mass like Apple does it's iPhones doesn't mean they are dying. I wish them as much success as possible, but I also respect niche markets and products that compete on different fronts.
I noticed most camera “ brand “ collectors , they never satisfied with any new model… that’s strange behavior they do on TH-cam negative videos posting about what they don’t like in cameras…. But hardly who says camera 100 % good to take photos… and never show what they taking, just talking what they want in new products…. 😬👎🏼🤔… that’s sad , and always attacking PENTAX brand , they like to see tat or this … but since came digital cameras , they good for photography … 👍❤️
K-1 mk3 ?????? No mirrorless? (He asks in K-01 voice) K-3iii,... is a fail, lack of flip/fold screen has done more damage to sales then even the Video firmware screw ups could cause. The designer should have been over ruled by management on that.
The flip screen is an issue for many but remember that this camera has been designed primarily has a handheld camera. Not every camera can meet the needs of everyone. Having sad that they are selling like hot cakes and I have heard a few people say that sales have gone well over expectations.
@@MattBishopPhotography I highly doubt that. Without the foldable screen, and at the stupidly high price point, if theyve exceeded expectations, then they only planned on selling very few units to begin with. Selling 1/100th of a comparable Nikon or Canon when you expected to sell 1/200th, isnt worth the self congratulations, not when they could be taking a much larger market share by not making these sales limiting mistakes.

Very well said. I couldn’t agree more!
That intro though... Pure gold! Lol

Great video!!!! Love it man, I have probe most of the brands and variety of cameras from Leica Q, M10, Fuji X-T2, H1, T3, Sony A7Rii, Riii, A7III, Nikon Z6, Lumix S1r, Z5, etc... Great Matt looking forward to it, have a great weekend 😀
You explained this brilliantly , and I am just a hobbyist with the Pentax KP with kit lens and love it. If I would ever be struck dumb then I would let you do the talking for me. Well done Sir thank you.
Glad you thought so. Great camera the KP. Hope it is serving you well!
Great words Matt and I agree with each and every one of them, Pentax cameras and lenses are fantastic and will always use them, unfortunately there are alot of camera snobs out there. Love watching your videos Matt !!!
Cheers mate. And thanks for watching. Glad we are on the same page
Great stuff!! Love the passion, Matt! Greetings from Germany
Cheers mate. Always been passionate about the brand since picking up my first Pentax 20 years ago. You know when you’ve a got a winner !
Pentax have been around since day one . I have two Pentax, I have a k70 and a ko1 . Both in my opinion very good. The Pentax K70 is excellent for travel and the outdoors. Their Pancake lenses are just great . The k01 I purchased in Singapore.
Excellent video 😮!
Cheers mate. It’s an old video. Some of the comments don’t apply now, however a lot of comments are still quite relevant

Great video, Matt. When the next full-frame comes out incorporating the K-3iii stuff (and more), I will buy it. And the new lenses. I'm a lifer.

@@MattBishopPhotography I shoot the K-1 about 95% of the time (I'm a product/lifestyle shooter). Love that camera!
I simply love the fact that I can snap on a 60 year old lens with the most basic of adapters and have a different experience with the same DSLR setup as that used with modern lenses. Nothing comes close to this experience.
For sure !!! I have had a lot of fun with the old 50mm 1.7 manual on the k3iii with that new OVF. Manual focus is a dream

I love your passion, there is direction and movement forward , not at the pace other manufacturers chuck them out but so what, I haven't got the money to be changing camera every year, I don't need to with Pentax and am happy with the quality of my images and equipment.
Oh thanks. When a Pentax camera comes out it’s built to last. Don’t forget that.
Hahahaha. It translates quite well my friend!
Me toooo!!!!!
That intro 🔥 😄
Something wrong with it. Apparently it caused a few people to get some ants in their pants
Ther's a K-1 iii?
Ahahah. Sorry I did correct myself…. At least the name
645z mark II?

@@MattBishopPhotography 100mp with astrotracer!
@@christianlainesse4281 now your talking. But you forgot the pixel shift too!!!!
Gotta love Pentax!
I'm invested in Pentax both body and lenses. I love what they have... But they don't compare to market leading brands. That's why they're market leading, Pentax might not be dead but they're not up to date and that hurts me to say
And the 100mp 645 is coming out when?
When they have an iMac that will support it!!!!!
Very well said. I reckon you’ve nailed it with those features. Knowing Ricoh I reckon they will throw an extra surprise in the there too
Pentax will never died, even under the rain or the snow over the years :O
Yeh!
Well said!
Thanks mate. Hope I didn’t blabber on too much. Tried to keep it short and sweet heart. Straight to the point !

I absolutely love PENTAX.
They say:
"- Oh ... this camera does not have a rotating screen ..."
The company is making a swivel screen in the next model.
They say:
"- Uuuh ... this swivel screen makes the camera less reliable ..."
Of course you can't please everyone, but in my opinion people just don't appreciate what they have. There are some fantasies in their heads, woven from everything that they have ever seen from other brands. These fantasies are turned into a single picture of an ideal camera. And this prevents them from perceiving reality normally. I want to tell these guys "- Hey, asshole, you squeeze at least 20% out of your smartphone, and then discuss DSLR."
If Pentax ever goes mainstream, it will no longer be a Pentax, but a roll of toilet paper that will need to be changed every time the manufacturer releases a new one.
Maybe I'm rude, but the one who is capable, I think, will understand me correctly.
Peace!
Hahahahhahaha

@@MattBishopPhotography Yes, everything that makes you think causes rejection. And in order to learn something, you need time which supposedly does not exist. But there are bucks for that.
Dude chill, don't smack that k1 screen you might broke it. Hahahaha
i love that u r so angry :)
I am not ANGRY. I am passionate.
천천히 그리고 느긋하게 갈뿐.

The flex cable on some of these flip screens fail. Probably best the k3iii does not have a flippy.
Беззеркалка нужна, как воздух! И второе: зачем уничтожили "игрушечную" систему Pentax Q? Зеркалки сейчас это пережиток прошлого, они не актуальны...
I am sorry you feel that way and that your feelings have changed in such a short time span since we spoke last.

No mirrorless? (He asks in K-01 voice)
K-3iii,... is a fail, lack of flip/fold screen has done more damage to sales then even the Video firmware screw ups could cause.
