I test drove Carens , and I felt a lag , I was confused drove again then decided to cancel my booking . Garnering bookings then increasing price by Rs.60000 , shows their character and amounts to cheating . On road price between the two will be more than 2.5 lacs .

Wrong bhai. Check the official brochure on the nexa website. Alpha has everything except ventilated seats and tyre pressure monitoring system and some exterior cosmetics. The uv cut glass is there in alpha and alpha +.
I am sure there's something wrong with model you checked. Please confirm with the dealer and do check out the official brochure. Maruti is not known for lying in brochures.

Carens is overpriced?...it's bigger, more comfortable, more powerful,more spacious and it undercuts XL 6 in pricing for 1.5 NA engines
