Hey Bob! Thanks for your comment. Really cool to see you here. Really appreciate your kind words. That means a lot. Hope you have a great day and get some more adventures in yourself :)
Yeah they hiked to the end of the road, and a tad further then the trail faded out. That would be an excellent backcountry site to camp at at the end of Piedras road. Your jeep would make it no problem. I took my truck back there which is wider. However, that one spot I pointed out in the video is a bit washed out. I'm super nervous about that stuff... but certainly should be more than good enough. And it's such a minor spot a quick road repair could be done on the spot. It actually looks like somebody had done that since I drove my truck back there. Also probably a great place to spot animals. My guess is that trail was well stomped down by animals. Not necessarily people.
Thanks! I really appreciate that. Takes a lot of time to make the videos but really enjoy doing it. Glad you like watching them. Hopefully you can get out there yourself. I just started by walking on forest service roads.
@@MeanBeanM249 oh cool, we stopped on that ridge. Should have gone to top. Unfortunately both of us were already running late / took too much time exploring.
That's so cool! I've found TWO of those cans now in the wilderness here. One still said Pepsi on it! I was so excited. I told my mom about finding the other can then she said they called them church keys too but I didn't capture that part on camera :( Thanks for watching the video!

I’ve never explore this area yet. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Where do you typically go?
The trail with your parents looked very inviting to do in the Jeep. That was a nice little camp site meal area. Did your parents like hike?

Us old timers called puncher can openers "CHURCH KEYS"

They are only church keys when you are opening a beer. With a soda pop they were just openers.@@exploringgodscountry
