I’m not sure I agree Tekken is made for close combat. There is a huge spacing element to the game. But I do think Tekken 8 does what it can to dumb down the spacing game and force engagement. Which I don’t think is a good thing

LTG is hilarious coming after people's tekken gameplay. He had like 700 hrs if not more in tekken 7 only to be hard stuck orange ranks. And his entire strategy relied on cheaping you out with a character nobody plays so nobody knows the matchup. It's insane how little effort he puts in to learning a game considering it's his job and he gets super salty about it on stream.
His entire content loop is just complaining after he gets beat by lvl. 1 gimmick cheese and then learning nothing. It's legitimatetly impressive, kind of like an anti talent, how much this guy fails to adapt.
How long before LTG fills up his ban list? Hes banning bad players at launch. Once he fills his listbof casuals, the real diehards will stay behind and his list will be too full to ban those good players.
Well it took 2 weeks to fill the ban list in Street Fighter 6, so there. Probably less depending on max ban size.
That being said, it won’t be long after until Dale has to do his usual banlist inventory woes, where he unbans people just to make room for more bans
