I wrote to Phonak asking if my one-year old Lumity 70 HA could be upgraded to the AutoSense 5.0 with StereoZoom 2.0 and Speech Sensor, and they replied that my aids already have it. If this is true, what is special about your video announcing these features now? Am I missing something?
All the same 20 bands in Fine tuning. As it was 10 years ago in the Quest platform. During this time, Oticon has stepped from 10 fine-tuning bands to 24. And it is unlikely to be limited to this. This allows you to adjust the gain curves more precisely.
@@HearingTracker actually I will go to my audiologist in 2 days from now, to fit for paradise. Hope is the right choice. I also think about widex so hard to chose. Any advice? Appreciate it!
Was hoping to hear of an update to the audio Lumity :/ 2way audio for me is very important so I can do calls from the phone or simpered, but I hear the person on the other side can’t hear very well over a call.

I’ve had the Phonak Lumity 70 for about one year and am generally happy with them. Are the new features under AutoSense 5.0: stereo zoom 2.0 and Speech Sensor available in a software upgrade? My current devices run software 1.0.5.0 will my provider be able to upgrade them for me, or does it require new hardware?

My Lumity 70 Life worked fine for a couple of weeks last spring, but the HAs became unreliable. I returned them in favor of the less techie ReSound Omnia device, which is less flashy but gets the job done consistently. Think my Phonak device waa defective. I'll give Phonak another look in a couple of years.
Online with Phonak's chat yesterday. They tell me that they JUST released the upgraded Virto Lumity custom ITE. Any opinion if this is true, or have you heard anything about this?
@@eastendedon’t get confused with terminology. Hey David! A year ago I said that it would be 18 months before they were replacing their tech based on the pattern of all of Phonak’s previous releases. Pretty good guess in my opinion (we still don’t know how long until the custom Infinios are being released).
Do you think that you would benefit from these new features? Matthew

I want two options: Turn off the button and block bird sounds because I have tinnitus 24/7, but a bird signing makes a. lot more tinnitus.
@Mathew, hi. Thank you for this great video.
Can you please say if Marvel Black, comparing with this video is still an advanced option?
Thanks

Matthew, are there any OTC hearing aids that have a functionality similar to CROS, for one-sided hearing loss?
