Update: I noticed that it's using up more ram after the update and I think my battery life has declined also. A hard reset usually does the trick when that happens. I usually hard reset phones after major updates so let's see if that improves the battery life and the ram management.

I was using this phone for 8 months it's was a great phone. It could be faster yes and I hope the a55 is and has wireless charging. I think this is the best phone for most people. I sold mine to get the s23 but I honestly with I still had it siche the one UI updated has come out. Thanks for the video
Just bough mine in the UK. Paid £189 for the lime colour. Absolutely agree, its definitely value for money. Also found 2nd pristine galaxy watch 4 for £49. Why pay more eh.

Guys, my A54 after one ui 6 update runs significantly slower, especially animations aren't as smooth as in one ui 5.1 and whole interface feels much laggier, any help with that? Im really frustrated about this, before this uptade, everything was running 100% optimal
I like the phone walked in the phone store needing a new phone and this literally just dropped I took a chance once I seen everything n It absolutely performs n I stream , gamed , camera and this phone is worth what I paid . I don't think iphones are worth their price point but this isn't on that level but what u get for your money it beats it in that aspect all day
@StevealiciousTech I love the Samsung Internet browser too, but certain websites don't support it. For eg. CapitalOne Offers won't open up on Samsung Internet. I have to switch to Firefox just open up that particular website.
Performance wise they probably aren't that far apart because I used to have the A71 and I liked the performance of it with the snapdragon. Battery life is probably close also. The A54 clearly wins in every other area. Worth the upgrade in my opinion.
wait to A55 , it will be a huge upgrade since the A54 is 50% faster than A71 , i also use A71, so i hopefully see a really major upgrade in terms of performance on A55 since it will use aluminium frame and amd rdna 2 gpu
I just got mine from t-mobile after having the pixel 6a for a bit. Google updates with pixel seem to be getting g worse so i wanted a phone with hardware that has a better track record. Some lag and stutters tho at times but not sure if that is how it is from the start until it breaks in or settings i need changed like ram plus.
My head phones are messing up with my phone after this update happened its not the headphones I've tried other pairs of headphones it's the phone doing it,it didn't start happening till after the update plz help. They are onn neckbands

It's way better but you have to factory reset it after the update to notice the difference. Mine got worse after the update and before I factory reset it.

Hi, A31 user here. My fingerprint sensor actually does that.( If you mean the screen is brighter). Try to turn off the fingerprint sensor and see if the brightness of the wallpaper changes. I actually had to turn off my in-display fingerprint sensor for this reason. I was thinking of buying a phone with a side fingerprint sensor, but now I want to give the a54 a chance. But this issue worries me. I read some other comments that had issues after the update say that they were fixed after they did a factory reset. Try that if you want or contact samsung support!
I think it will make every Samsung phone better because it made my A54 feel like a high end phone. I honestly don't think I would be able to tell the difference if someone gave me an S23 to try out unless I compared the camera quality and went into more of the advanced features that the A54 doesn't have. Just make sure you do a hard reset on it after the update. The battery drain that I experienced before the hard reset was pretty bad. I feel like I have double the battery life after the hard reset.

Yes, but as we've seen with other updates, just because something runs on the flagship hardware, it's not always well-optimized for the down the line stuff.
I think you have the global version of the A54 which is the A545E not the US unlocked A54 which is A545U1 hence why you got the update. The Yellow colour isn't solid US officially.
I don't know if you want to pin this comment, but a factory reset/hard reset is a must after this update. The battery life has improved drastically after the hard reset and it's faster as well. It really feels like a premium high end phone now.

I got the 256GB ROM + 8GB RAM version, and the uodate has made this phone feel way more buttery and silky. I love it!

it stutter like when you alt tab, sometimes the transition is smooth, but not consistent

A few people are having that, they say a re-install helps a lot. Wipe your phone and build it back up and people are having a much better experience.
