This antique looking journal you have just completely up to the stage of varnishing what was the make, or type of varnish that you recommend, could you as an alternative use for example mod podge, the PVA glue that you use, would that be the same PVA as used in wood working? The journals in this video seem heavier than my results, so I'm curious what she uses that makes the journals seem heavier (The way the camera shakes when she sets the book down on the table, and the sound the beads make when it hits the cover). I am so in love with her decorating technique!
