Been staying up river today and amazed , just how long the farmers have been working for since , 7am and still working combining and then turning over the field . Big respect to all the farmers and their workers
That Unimog is impressive. Info on the plan for you as I was tracking it on Flight Radar 24. It was a A400 Atlas transport aircraft used by the RAF. It was just the 1 plane from RAF Brize Norton. It did a couple of circuits at the airport before making out towards the Isle of Man before returing to Brize via the North Wales coast before heading through Snowdonia & mid Wales
I wonder if it did the mach loop? Some amazing vids on YT of the cargo planes flying through.
There really should be a vintage Mog in the shed to go with the MB. 90% today, West Cork, Ireland.

We just tried this up a fairly steep hill with no trailers. neck and neck until about 12 mph then the unimog was off into the distance. The fastrac had no chance. As the loaded weight goes up the unimog will open up an way greater lead. The fastrac vario gearbox is not designed for high speed haulage, It is primarily a field gearbox. The unimog uses less fuel to make double the progress and with it's optional hydrostatic box will still mow and bale with no wearing parts. Great system if it is reliable as the rest of the merc products.

Looks like you’ve had a real mixture of weather the last few days there then olly we haven’t had much in the way of rain so far plus the great Dorset steam fair is coming near us at the end of the month so fingers crossed the rain will stay away till after it’s finished

We are so dry here in the southwest of Cornwall, but a local dairy farmer gave me water for my cattle what had no water.

Those type of planes zoom round the UK flying along runways without actually landing. Training supposedly.
The plane looks like an RAF a400. He wouldn’t have midlanded. They do what’s called a touch and go and keep going round and round doing them to practise landings!! Good video as usual olly, good to finally see how good the volunteer rape done!

the raf are all ways using liverpool airport for touch and go's all so it tactical advantage of being close to Liverpool docks witch is one of 3 places the uks new aircraft carrier's can dock

The unimog will walk all over the fastrac.. We tried it.
Interesting mentioning the increase in interest in response to inflation; you are right. The link between interest rates and inflation is old theory, its just not there in reality, but those in control have to be seen to be doing something. Sometimes things just get more expensive, we either have to get used to it, or find other sources for what we need.

So I am by no means an expert in finance but the two reasons I could give for increasing the interest rates are:
To decrease spending pressure within the general economy, yes inflation is to do with Ukraine but if you decrease buying then there will be less likelihood of inflation.
The second and more important thing is that the pound is low, so things like gas and petrol are all put against the dollar, if you increase interest rates the pound will look more attractive to investors, they put money in, the pound goes up and petrol and gas prices look in pound terms to go down, if the pound to dollar is 1:122 as it is now and it goes to 1:150 then if you are buying in dollars you are able to buy more for the same amount of pounds and so petrol prices go down.
Now this is not to counter the fact that oil and gas and fertiliser firms are not artificially keeping prices high and making record profits
Like I say I am not an expert and expect lots of people to educate me on this

Racing the JCB would be better if you change gear at 1500 revs rather than thrashing it over to 2500 revs. no torque or power after 1500 revs.... but i think the unimog would still loose 😂🤙
I know the unimog goes faster, is more powerful but I just recon the fastrac will be better a all round machine (yes I’m a biased fastrac fanboy)

Typical merc shite gearbox, I drove a 2545 merc actros 44 ton truck, The gearbox is the worst I have even driven, Slow and dimwitted. Sadly the Mog doesn't look any better in that respect.
