Remember algae and other cooties only grow if you have heat and/or sunlight. Or if you exposed the water to something

Get a bubblier and air stone, to keep the water fresh.

I went through hurricane Andrew in 92 and I can tell you, it was hard.
I just had a complete water filtration system for the home. So I’m able to store and restore and we also next door we have an elderly couple that I help we help by sharing our water with as well by helping store water for them and power solar power banks for his wife’s oxygen machine 🙂
