    Do the LED's properly dim with the dimmer switch? Or does it need to be set to max brightness at all times? Really concerned about this and not sure if I should just get OEM bulbs. Thanks!

    Great video, I was wondering if you had a video on how to change the lights behind the climate controls?

    Hi I'm having an issue with my tach dropping while driving. The engine RPMs is not affected but the gauge needle goes in and out of working. I was wondering if I did this, should I just tighten those screws on the back of the cluster to fix what I believe is a loose connection?

    Hello, could you help me with my 1991 accord?
    All the clouster needles fail, replace the distributor and change the clouster and it remains the same.
    thanks what could it be

    Just got through doing the bulb replacement, although not with LEDs. Why did they make the wires for the cruise/sunroof control block and the plugs for the instrument cluster itself so short. Fkin Whyyyyyyyyy aaaaaaaaaaaaah. Made it ten times harder than it needed to be.

    Are there lights behind the heater buttons that can be replaced? I can’t see which buttons to push at night.

    in my case nothing lights up, not even the part where the AC buttons are... obviously I am turning the lights on. What can that be?

    How did you remove the steering bro

  • @belfieldj

    Did you need to remove the steering wheel to get to the gauge cluster? Or did you remove it so that you could shoot the video without it getting in the way?

      Bill B you do not need to remove the steering wheel lol. I just removed it so the viewers can get a better view without the wheel being in the way!!!

      Thanks bud, I was hoping that was the case. I did this job last night, and left my wheel on :D For some reason, it was a ***** to put the plastic panel back into place, lol. But it did the trick. Thanks for the tutorial.

    • @reg_ularred2285

      Sorry for the late response but no you dont need to remove the shifter itself. Just the console around the shifter. Theres 2 screws that are hidden and you cant get to them without removing the shifter console.

      @@reg_ularred2285 thanks man your video saved me from breaking everything, thank God they don't make it this difficult in newer Hondas to remove the cluster, it's basically a puzzle, I had to fix my miles on the cluster, Carfax says 143k and odometer said 185k

    Another question haha. My seat belt motors no longer work and when I have both lap and shoulder belt my seat belt light just goes off and the never ending beeping. Regardless if having all straps on or non at all. What can I do just to stop the beeping and flashing. I know its not safe to remove but how dumb can people be?

      @reg_ularred2285  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ive done alot of research myself on that when i did my racing seats! No one really had any clue. I managed to figure out how to get rid of the beeping and the light but its sorta hard to explain in text! Ill try to make a short video and explain it better!!

    How many of each bulb do i need to replace all of the lights?

    • @reg_ularred2285
      @reg_ularred2285  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was able to find a box of bulbs with i think 20 bulbs for like 6 bucks. You dont need that many but its good to have extras. I cant remember how many of each buld actually was in the back but you should need no more than 5 of each bulb. Like i said tho if u can find a pack with 10 or 20 bulbs i would get that for replacement bulbs

      @@nigelchan9028 you didnt happen to loosen or tighten any of the screws on the back of the cluster? There are copper wires acting like leads that are wrapped around the screws and if you over tighten them even slightly you will break them and cause the gauge to go hay wire. It is a very thin gauge copper wire so they are very brittle. Only changing the bulbs should not effect the gauges. Unless the cluster was dropped or over tightening of the screws that mount the gauge to the cluster. Im not sure if that made any sense. But if you need me to re explain it, ill try my best to help you out.

      @@nigelchan9028 if you didnt touch the screws on the back of the cluster than i would revert back to the bulbs that were in the cluster before and see if it fixes it. Just to be sure. If it doesnt than those leads on your fuel and temp gauge are broken. Therefore you will need to get a replacement gauge. Which are fairly cheap for just the fuel and temp gauge itself. But like i said if you do go that route with changing the gauge with new ones be very gentle with the screws and only barely snug them down. Literally as soon as the head of the screw touches the board stop tightening. Let me know if you need more help. Ill do my best
