- Paint with me as I create this mixed media artwork in my sketchbook! This was my first time using the Neocolor ii water-soluble wax pastels from Caran D'Ache. I also used Arteza gouache and prismacolor colored pencils. These crayons add lots of texture and character to the painting process, with some unexpected results. Let me know what you think!

Thank you for all your support friends! I’ll be adding new videos soon! Feel free to let me know what you’d like to see in the future!
Great to see more left handed artists. Brilliant video.
Thank you so much friend!
Very good result and a lot of learning to me. On the some moment I thought that the picture is spoiled, but you did some magic changes with shadows and datailed work and it looks finally great. Mostly, I stop on the moment and can't do nothing after that. Your work showed me how to sort it out.
There's a famous fairy tales called The Ugly Duckling. A duck thinks he's ugly until he grows up to be a swan, the most lovely bird of all. Always think of your art as a duck that can be a swan. Most art has stage where you question it all. Experiment often in a small format until you know how to recognize the ugly duckling phase and can get it to the swan stage. You'll gain a lot of confidence.
Also, save your "failures" because the journey is important. Sometimes you'll go back and see how you've progressed. I also keep old paper-based art and turn it into collage later, so I am not wasting supplies. Knowing that's a possibility makes it easier to make art without fear. You can do this! Everyone starts with no knowledge and the best is gained by doing it over and over.
Thanks friend! I definitely feel that while painting a lot. You get used to it the more you push through it. You’ll start to trust your ability to solve problems. Have fun! 💕
Very true! 🦢
I really enjoyed this, how it all comes together to create a beautiful landscape. I'm just learning how to use neo colors and this really helped. Thanks!
I’m so glad it helped! 🥰
What a beautiful and relaxing video! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Thank you so much doll! 💕
Love watching your videos!
This was lovely and so inspiring!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it! :)
So pretty! :) Peeling of tape in the end is always so satisfying don't you think?
Thank you!!! And yes 100% that's the best part hehe
Lovely process!
Thank you!
beautifully done 😍
Thank you so much friend!
Beautiful!
Thank you 💕
You are very talented.🎨
Thank you so much friend! That means a lot 💕
I love it. Wish I had the talent!
Thank you 💕💕
What did you use to paint the trunks? Gouache? Acrylic? Dissolved neocolor 2?
Thanks for this! I'm just getting into these for my mixed media work! It's so relaxing and informative to see how other people approach materials when they are new to me. It seems like they work really well with gouache or over watercolor. Have you tried them with anything else that surprised you yet?
Thank you so much! That means a lot :) I haven’t tried them with anything else yet but they’re still some of my favs for sketchbook mediums. Hope you’re enjoying them too!
Hello, very nice work!!
Could I use albrecht durers as regular colored pencils on top of the neocolor 2? (AD’s are the only colored pencils I have)
Bellissimo 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👩🏼🎨🤓
Thank you so much! 🥳
Looovvveee!
Thank you! :)
Love this. What's the name of this music? It's a perfect pair to your art.
Thanks so much! It's a variety of Lo-Fi songs from Epidemic Sound
Just wauw! Is that an 'old' box? Are there the same as the neocolor 2 aquarelle?
Thank you! Yes, these are the neocolor 2 aquarelles I believe 😊
@@LittleRedDrawsArt thank you! ❤️
I gave you a like because you did a picture instead of brainless swatches.
Thank you so much 😊
True.
Curious about the tape? Never have seen it before! Anyone know?
Hi friend! It’s paper tape from Choosing Keeping. I got it because I liked the neutral color, but most washi or masking tape would work the same :)
Did you use wax pastels and??
I used some gouache for the tree trunks and coloured pencils at the end ☺️
Horrible background sound.
