Teflon is ok but you 100% must use soft non metallic utensils 100% of the time. Lots of people don’t understand this and eat lots of teflon. Coatings are getting more durable now.

For rough seas I use a deep frying Pan a aluminum one And it works great especially for frying
Just purchase the Magma grill myselves today, ready for spareribs if the fish wont bite :-)

Why don’t you get cast iron and an oven mitt? Cast iron will probably last longer than the boat
