Just ordered mine. 4 months couped up, I'm ready for the outdoors! 👍

With a bit of fiddling you can pitch it outer first if you use it in combination with the groundsheet protector. Used it on my ML assessment last October. It was very good: stable in the wind, waterproof, although the porch is limited. Great weight for the price.

I’ve got this. I wish it had sleeves for the poles on the outside. That way inner & outer pitched together & stop getting everything wet. It needs a rear vent to for air flow. Hopefully there will be a type 2 version with external poles

I generally like Alpkit gear and this looks a decent tent for the money. Best wishes, Chris

Thanks for the tour. It looks decent. I’m looking for a one man tent for running with. Do you have it set up on fake grass there? Not having real grass underneath it would have a big influence on the “no condensation” judgement. Have you had a chance to field test yet?

      Hi Freemansrus
Yes it is on fake grass and i had not thought of that. I have not been able to test again yet but I will hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Hi Adam, enjoyed the video so just a couple of questions. If you were erecting the tent in the rain is there any way you could cover the inner with the flysheet to keep it dry. secondly, could you unclip part of the inner to give more space to do some cooking if the weather was really bad. Regards Terence Stanley

thats a good question and I hadnt thought about dropping the inner to make space...I wonder if that would work.

Just wondered what the securing straps/lugs are for, either side of the door? The door rolls up so these seem to be superfluous?

How tall are you? I am 6`2"..would there be any headroom whilst sitting up?

Hi Trevor I am about 5.11 and its OK for me but with 3 inches extra hight it might be tight mate.
