I was born into an Italian family from the region of Italy called calabria. Both sides of my family are calabese. And even though I was born here in the United States and I am only totally fluent on American English, I have heard Italian and the dialects of Naples, calabria, and scilly my entire life. Do when I here Italian spoken I can member most of the words providing they are not speaking too fast. And I know many Italian songs that I have heard sung in Italian. If I had an Italian newspaper to read I could say every word perfectly and I did that for my paternal grandmother often. So when I hear il volo sing. I k ow every word of every song. I just cannot sing well anymore so I prefer to just listen. Their voices are so beautiful. And perfect that I must listen to every song that they singwhen I am watching one of their videos on Facebook or you tube. Totally beautiful all of the time.

I have been following these young men since they were 14 and 15 and met them once, briefly a couple of years ago - they're as sweet as as can be --- humble and unaffected. I would have given up ALL of my accumulated miles to have made the trip from American to Taormina for this wonderful performance in that magnificent setting.
They are wonderful…I got three cds now…in the car…I got them on now as I’m packing… they calm me down… you have to watch them in concert…they are hilarious…they have more fun and Ames us enjoy them more…they are not boring…looove them….

I was born into an Italian family from the region of Italy called calabria. Both sides of my family are calabese. And even though I was born here in the United States and I am only totally fluent on American English, I have heard Italian and the dialects of Naples, calabria, and scilly my entire life. Do when I here Italian spoken I can member most of the words providing they are not speaking too fast. And I know many Italian songs that I have heard sung in Italian.
If I had an Italian newspaper to read I could say every word perfectly and I did that for my paternal grandmother often.
So when I hear il volo sing. I k ow every word of every song.
I just cannot sing well anymore so I prefer to just listen.
Their voices are so beautiful. And perfect that I must listen to every song that they singwhen I am watching one of their videos on Facebook or you tube.

I have been following these young men since they were 14 and 15 and met them once, briefly a couple of years ago - they're as sweet as as can be --- humble and unaffected. I would have given up ALL of my accumulated miles to have made the trip from American to Taormina for this wonderful performance in that magnificent setting.

I am writing is JULY 2020 and we cannot go to concerts anymore....Gianluca Piero Ignazio and many other artist cannot perform. COVID 19 is still treathening WORLDWIDE we all feel trapped and we are......Videos like that makes me ask myself if life will ever be the same as before..... to feel the same emotions in stunning places like that with stunning people like those 3 artists. The only thing I feel after whatching this beauty is .....
