Did anyone else realize they only make some of their models? For example the, Fredbear Plush, Spring Freddy, and Springbonnie are not their models. If they are their models then the models are clearly based off another game’s models. The Freddy Frostbear also looks too much like another game’s model (the game I’m referencing doesn’t have Freddy Frostbear but the model is so similar to their basic Freddy that it’s pretty much clear that they took inspiration). Same with the Springtrap. I didn’t mention the game’s names just incase they actually did make those models themselves but took inspiration from the games I referenced or just made models that looked similar to other game’s models but no inspiration was taken and no models were taken (this is how you can tell I’m not directly saying this like I know the models were stolen). If this game didn’t steal models then they just reached my top 10 favorite models in ROBLOX games. If they take inspiration then that’s good. Creators should take inspiration from people making better or just as good things. Say one FNAF RP game didn’t have a good model for Springtrap since he’s very detailed, they could take inspiration from a game with a model better than theirs and make it their own and maybe even make a better model than their inspiration. This is a lesson for all game creators (which I will be in the future so expect to see games on ROBLOX made by PokemonLetsGoEevie). Thanks to all the game builders (the people who make models and maps and animations and other things for games) who make games we play enjoyable. Thanks to all the developers, moderators, administrators, and everyone else who works to keep games safe for children and still enjoyable for people who can handle content too mature for children. But most of all, thanks to the game holders (people who own the game) and people who come up with the ideas for the games. They make the games possible because, without the holders there would be no game to play in and without the people who come up with the ideas for the games then there’s again no game to play in, just a blank space. Thank you for reading and if your a game developer wether it be on ROBLOX or anywhere else, keep working hard to achieve your dreams and maybe someday you will.
I just realized this changed from my opinion to a lesson very quickly. I hope you take my advice, and if you take inspiration from another game’s models, maps, etc. don’t directly copy it. Change it to fit the atmosphere of your game. Change it so that nobody thinks, “Oh these people copied from someone else’s game. I don’t wanna play this because you shouldn’t copy off others.” And for the competitive game creators, please stop. If your competitive your games can start to change for the worse. One of the reasons to make games is to enjoy it, not stress about your game being better than someone else’s game. Also if you wanna make a version of someone else’s game, always ask permission to use models, maps, etc. because if you don’t then the game you made a version of could get shut down by copyright laws if it’s a “real game” (I say real game meaning non-ROBLOX game) or if it’s a ROBLOX game then ROBLOX could shut your game down because of complaints from the owner and others.
