I stumbled across Boom Boom Satellties at Reading Festival in 2003 as an 18 year old kid. I remember them Nakano and Kawashima alone on stage, with just a laptop, drums and guitar and all of this equipment. Just these two guys making these amazing sounds that were different to any other act I saw and using technology loops and synthesised beats along with live instruments that is common place now but at the time was very unique. Now I a 34. They were and remain the most memorable band I have ever seen in my life. They are my favourite band.
Michael FlynchPinch, KMFDM is a pure industrial band, and Satellites are very different and indeed quite unique. Most electronic musicians would agree with that. Satellites has created a new brand of electro-rock music based on atypical rock song structures, combination of electronic and regular rock rhythmic elements (both real and electronic drums and bass lines), unique guitar sounds and motives, and extensive use of vocal effects. These guys are truly among the best rock musicians of our times. Congrats guys! :)
Ok first off this comment is literally 7 years old lmao I don't even like KMFDM anymore. Secondly, I think bands like The Neon Judgement, Borghesia, and Cabaret Voltaire, predate both KMFDM and Cubanate as far as guitar heavy industrial /EBM goes

Definitely some recent NIN and Radiohead influences as well.

I can't believe it.
@JasterDCX A recent interview with them by JAME mentioned them wanting to tour ALL states. We hope they can do so next year and/or beyond.
