I recently got back into Klean Kanteen. Simple, lightweight and can boil water directly (non-insulated only), looks kool. Englaving is free until 1/31 :D
Still absolutely SWEAR by my Klean Kanteen (I have a 12oz and a 16oz), which I didn't see in the video, but HIGHLY recommend reviewing....I feel like people sleep on this brand FAR too often STILL! I see there was a mention of it on the website where the video was posted, but not a full review. It did mention that the capacity wasn't big enough (it specifically cited the TKWide 16oz), but that bottle comes in sizes ranging from 12oz to 64oz. The 64oz is definitely a fatty, but even the 32oz (1L) one will fit in most cup holders and water bottle pockets, and b/c the TKWide is a 'system' all of the different types of leak-proof lids (yes multiple types) bit on every size of bottle. Klean Kanteen is also a BCorp and a member of 1% for the planet on top of ticking all of the other boxes you typically look for (insulation capability - beats out others hands down and there have been a LOT of other TH-cam channel review this - leak-proof, dent-resistant, easy to drink from, no taste transfer, handle/portability, etc).
If you're looking for a way to clean your bottles, I've found denture cleaning tablets, now being rebranded under labels like "Bottle Bright", to be an excellent way to get gaskets, integrated straws, and the bottles themselves a good cleaning.
I love my HydroJug! I have the bigger 44oz version, but my husband has the 32oz "Traveler" model that he loves, it's leakproff, has a handle on the top, and ice has stayed solid in it for at least 24 hours :)
Iron Flask 40oz and 32oz are my travel go tos and I have a 50oz Iron Flask mug I use for water in my house. Love the leak proof lids & hours of hot coffee they give me
The Yonder, I'm one of those weird people that drink water at room temp unless I go somewhere really hot and humid so the insulating factor doesn't matter a whole lot to me. I like being able to drink throughout the day without stopping to refill that often. I still use the Owala when I'm not traveling but not as often as the YETI. Mostly if I'm hiking, backpacking, or camping just because it's more rugged.
I love my 48oz yeti water bottle with the straw top. It’s a little large for many cup holders but the trade off is worth it for me because I drink so much water. My wife loves owala too!
Agree. Wide opening makes those bottles way easier to clean. Just throw em in the dishwasher and be done with it. No idea why small neck and glass bottles exist.
Costco Takeya is simple to disassemble and clean. I also like my HydroFlask and Klean Kanteen. I have a yeti gallon jug I need to stand on to open and a 20 oz rambler that's nice too.

I have used Thermos brand kid's water bottles for years. It's stainless steel and I think it holds 12 ounces (cold only). It doesn't have a straw and has a flip top. I have never had a problem with one leaking. I just looked at the website and I think the design has changed, and maybe the quality too. :(
Why does a water bottle need to be isolated? 90% of the time my fluid doesn't need to be temperature regulated and I'm just adding bulk and weight to my pack for no reason. And straws does add issues. imo the least parts a bottle has keeps your bottle the cleanest. Btw, it's only in the US that people are obsessed of icecubes with some water.
I've used the 24oz Owala and I have to say, while my initial thoughts of it are positive, long term use and active use it's not that good. I think if you're someone who wants a daily water bottle for an office it's perfect. But if you're using this water bottle for everything, you're better off just getting one of those large Nalgene bottles. The Owala water bottle runs the issue of being a metal water bottle where leaving it out in the sun can make it too hot too the touch if you live in an area with a hot climate. The durability of it can be somewhat of an issue as well as it easily dents with a limited amount of force. The other thing has to do with its design and accessibility to clean. You're going to have to buy a small brush to deal with the straw hole and do something about sanitizing the rubber part. I'd say it's biggest upside is the fact that it's able to keep liquids cool for upwards to 5-8 hours which is pretty impressive and the biggest selling point in my mind. I'd say for the price you're paying for I didn't find it worth it paying upwards to $60 to have a larger capacity water-bottle so while it's "nice" in some rights, I'd pass on it and probably buy the 32-40 Oz if it's on sale and around $30
Y’all talking best 2025 bottles a bit premature, Owala just dropped the new FreeSip Sway. It’s got some sweet upgrades over the old model. OG FreeSip = old news!
Have been using a Tiger Thermos for years, and have found it way better than half of your recommendations in here. Not only that, visually it is stunning (mine is the limited edition Waves design). Am actually quite surprised that the “less tacticool” brands like Tiger and Zojirushi arent featured here.
Owala seems a bit hard to clean regularly and it's top flicks water in the front when using that spring loaded mechanism to open the lid. Also their ideology is color shortages and 'limited' drops shows bag ethics of company pushing their customers to keep purchasing them even if they are not needed
I don't care for an insulated bottle as room temperature water seems to be the best for the body from what I've researched. Cogito's regular Cortland 2.0 (not the chill one) is an excellent option that only costs $12-15. Double spill proof cap as well as transparent form factor.
What's your favorite travel water bottle? 💦👍
Currently, my Owala. Love that you can sip or gulp. Also, the wide mouth make it easy to add ice.

💯 love my new LARQ2
Ninja Thirsti for my carbonated water.

As a water bottle addict-
Use the insulated one you already have. It’s probably fine.
Give it a good clean and use some bottle steriliser.

also look into barkeeper friend coffee cleaner, used it for huge coffee pots dispenser at my job.
Yup, totally agree. Use this as well. Also for those horrible CamelBak cleaning
I would love to see a video of favorite/best Marino Wool shirts for traveling.
I have an owala water bottle and I love it. I also have a Zojirushi and I have been using it for years and still in good shape.
1:30 if you (like me) don't like pop lids owala sells a version of this bottle with a screw top as well, but still with the same spout

Absolutely love my Purist waterbottle! Over a decade of searching for the "perfect water bottle" stopped with the Purist.
Where is the Larq bottle review? You had it in the thumbnail
surprised that you didn`t mention any in the catergory of purifying bottles . like life straw . Grayl or any of the others on the market
Iron Flask 40oz and 32oz are my travel go tos and I have a 50oz Iron Flask mug I use for water in my house. Love the leak proof lids & hours of hot coffee they give me
got the owala on your reco.. so far so good.. drink still cold when i come to work the next morning
Thanks for the info! 🤙
The hydroflask 24 ounce ultralight trail series is my current go to.
My vapur has been taking a serious beating and it still going strong. The only wish I have is for wider mouth access to wash it inside.
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙
Larq Purevis 2. Great for travel. Filtered, self cleaning, and wide swig top for ice.
My EDC is a 1L YETI Yonder and my go to for travel is a 24oz Owala FreeSip.
Which do you like better overall? 🧐

Check out the Klean Kanteen bottles. That's what I use. 👍
I love my 48oz yeti water bottle with the straw top. It’s a little large for many cup holders but the trade off is worth it for me because I drink so much water.
My wife loves owala too!
🤙🤙🤙
I have a couple of bottles. My favorites are made from metal, have wide openings and are dishwasher compatible (no idea why not all are).

I love kleen
I've been using the same Takeya 24oz insulated bottle since 2018. Every single day.

Camelbak 40Oz ChuteMag Insulated is the way to go
No Larq?
Ikea thermos 0.5 litre ❤
I want something that's not aluminum or plastic. Not even on the lid.
Y’all talking best 2025 bottles a bit premature, Owala just dropped the new FreeSip Sway. It’s got some sweet upgrades over the old model. OG FreeSip = old news!
You just made me buy the new one.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.
Don't forget to buy the Best Value for Money Water Bottle, Fjbottle.
They should ban plastic bottles they sell in cases

I prefer Brumate. Stanley are the worst
Whatever you can remove the gaskets and clean gunk

A thick sparkling water plastic bottle still is the best hygienic and lightest way to carry water
@packhacker can plz give metric conversions for fluid ounces as well 😊
