So for toons that have three star speed, when equipped with dog plush and the running shoes, they can outwalk twisteds to some degree. They don't need to be running the whole time, however, they still need a little bit of running cause they aren't faster than the twisteds. Basically, switch between mostly walking and then running a tiny bit when twisteds get close.This switching between walking and running can also save stamina for other characters as well. Though, if there is an object you can hide behind, just run instead of trying to save stamina so that you can put distance between you and a twisted. In a blackout, try to stick to the perimiter of the map and just wall hug as you're getting across it, this can lower the chances of a twisted noticing you. It's better than staying out in the open to find machines. Also, to better see in a blackout, turn down your graphics to the lowest setting and turn on maximum brightness because it'll look slightly lighter. In addition to this, if you look through glass, the map will appear a LOT brighter. So for example, you could look through the extractor's glass to check out the surroundings, or look through a window. This method also works with Rodger! If you're playing as Rodger and are in a blackout, look through Rodger's glass to see the map better. Hope this helps
alrighty so, as a lore player, let me explain the relationship between toodles, rodger and teagan! : there's actually nothing confirmed between any of them, toodles, based on her voicelines with rodger in the elevator, is a child who's very curious about what rodger does as a detective and she's always there to hear more about his stories or even help him solve a case (even though he usually wants to work alone.) so they arent canonically related but the fandom likes to see them as adopted daughter + father teagan is one of the most shipped characters with rodger in the fandom, so i guess it's obvious why they call her the mother of toodles so in reality, none of their relationships are actually canon but it's cute to imagine them that way!
Tips!!: Teagan is an okay toon because of her ability [Spend 100 tapes to heal a heart] but her stealth often ruins distractors while distracting, so what I recommend is to stay far away from distractors. If they come to you, they are a bad distractor. Tisha is a good toon for many reasons; She is an all rounder, meaning they can distract, extract, and support. biggest tips i would give others to be good at the game (if ur not distracting ofc) especially for a floor with pebble. BE AWARE OF SURROUNDINGS! BE PATIENT! HIDE WELL! CIRCLE AROUND SOMETHING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN UNTIL THEY GO OFF AND THEN STAY PUT. i got 3 pebbles in a row on a solo run before and this is how i survived. this game requires a lot of running and being able to get the twisted off u in a manner where you don’t waste all ur stamina and die.
Why is shrimp actually good. One time I said I was gonna distract ( I was pebble) and this shrimpo said NO LET ME and I was like ok jeez- and he was definitely hacking he was so fast snd he got us to floor 9 in 6 minutes but then he just left-

For me, Toons like Teagan and Brightney who have more stamina than speed. I usually use the pink bow and speed shoes. Since they don't benefit much from dog plush.
Teagan is kinda like a sassy queen if you think about it and use pink bow instead of dog plush because you don’t need to walk speed you need to run speed if you’re not a distractor
Some ways to get tapes, if you already didn’t know, is using your ability, doing machines, finding tapes, and getting chased by twisteds. Another rare one is consuming items, but it doesn’t give that much tbh.
I find these Dandy's World videos great for doing my homework every time you get to a new floor. I pause the video, do some homework questions, and then go back to the video. It helps with my procrastination.
@@RJCoolJ16 I know, that’s why I said you can use it, just as long as not half or more of the machines are done. For example, if no machines are done, you can use it. But if 2 are done and the total of the machines are 4 in that floor, you won’t be able to use the vee’s remote anymore until next floor.
Teagan is not fully her mother but she seems to fit that role. Rodger is toodles father but it’s not really true..toodles is actually adopted by him and Teagan helps him with taking care of her (THIS IS ALL IN MY OPINION)
Btw the trinket that Pebble (and I believe someone else has) is called Vee's Remote! The trinkets basically instantly completes the first Machine you extract from on any Floor, but only if the number of Machines completed is below 50% can only be used once in per floor. (ex. If there are 4 machines, you need to use the trinket before 2/4 machines are done. Or it be a bust smh) However, you have to 100% Vee's research for it. However, there is a trinket that is kinda a knock-off version of it. (Wrench, which you can buy from dandy's trinket. It only fills the machine half way) and there is a item you get from Dandy, Valve, which instantly completes a machine. How to distract is simple, don't use stamina unless the twisteds are near you. In order to keep distance, just keep in mind how far the twisteds are and do it in a circle rotation. (Or walk around the map, but you need to keep in mind everyone's stealth.)
heres another tip for Teagan always use the trinkets that give you tapes (I forgot what they were called) but sometimes they can be a real-life saber! there are as well tapes you can pick up! which give you tapes!! you can get tapes by completing machines too!!
The reason you got seen when you got near a twisted chasing another toon is because of stealth stealth is basically the thing that prevents you from being seen by a twisted chasing others, the lower stealth you have the more chance you have of being seen, if you have higher stealth you will have a less chance of being seen.

Fun Fact: Shrimpo has the worst stealth of any Toon in Dandys World. His passive (Bully) causes him to be at -99.99% units of stealth which is way less than any Toon with 1 star stealth. (Basically 0 units)
Tips: reagent is one of the best toons for solo or dandy run because her stats are good in extraction and her ability is good in dandy’s run because if there are heals in the shop y’all can’t buy so her ability will make her last longer.

What my trick is to play as Teagan: you can pull away Twisteds from a teammate(aka toon) because Teagan has low stealth

biggest tips i would give others to be good at the game (if ur not distracting ofc) especially for a floor with pebble. BE AWARE OF SURROUNDINGS! BE PATIENT! HIDE WELL! CIRCLE AROUND SOMETHING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN UNTIL THEY GO OFF AND THEN STAY PUT. i got 3 pebbles in a row on a solo run before and this is how i survived. this game requires a lot of running and being able to get the twisted off u in a manner where you don’t waste all ur stamina and die.

Why is shrimp actually good. One time I said I was gonna distract ( I was pebble) and this shrimpo said NO LET ME and I was like ok jeez- and he was definitely hacking he was so fast snd he got us to floor 9 in 6 minutes but then he just left-

For me, Toons like Teagan and Brightney who have more stamina than speed. I usually use the pink bow and speed shoes. Since they don't benefit much from dog plush.
Teagan is kinda like a sassy queen if you think about it and use pink bow instead of dog plush because you don’t need to walk speed you need to run speed if you’re not a distractor

I find these Dandy's World videos great for doing my homework every time you get to a new floor. I pause the video, do some homework questions, and then go back to the video. It helps with my procrastination.

Btw the trinket that Pebble (and I believe someone else has) is called Vee's Remote! The trinkets basically instantly completes the first Machine you extract from on any Floor, but only if the number of Machines completed is below 50% can only be used once in per floor. (ex. If there are 4 machines, you need to use the trinket before 2/4 machines are done. Or it be a bust smh) However, you have to 100% Vee's research for it.
However, there is a trinket that is kinda a knock-off version of it. (Wrench, which you can buy from dandy's trinket. It only fills the machine half way) and there is a item you get from Dandy, Valve, which instantly completes a machine.
How to distract is simple, don't use stamina unless the twisteds are near you. In order to keep distance, just keep in mind how far the twisteds are and do it in a circle rotation. (Or walk around the map, but you need to keep in mind everyone's stealth.)

The reason you got seen when you got near a twisted chasing another toon is because of stealth
stealth is basically the thing that prevents you from being seen by a twisted chasing others, the lower stealth you have the more chance you have of being seen, if you have higher stealth you will have a less chance of being seen.
