Really enjoyed this, Gina! 😊. Very soothing watching you color and shade. I'm thinking it would look nice in single colors also. Thanks for showing us how to do this! 😊. Hi to Tom too. 😊
This reminds me of a tonal study in drawing (but much less labor intensive)! Very nice! And quite on the opposite spectrum color-wise from last Tuesday’s card! I like them both very much!
I watched this on replay. Gina I never thought that grey scale could look so elegant. I got a few Prisma pencils and then I purchased a tin with other certain colors. The tin is so easy to put in my bag and carry with me to color. I also got a Pilot pencil sharpener and I love it. I also gave one to my granddaughter as she likes sketch and color. This is a lovely card!
I really like this for something more somber, like a sympathy card. I’d also like to try something monochromatic too. Thank Tom for his angle-ziety WOD! Thank you both so MUCH!🧚♀️🐾💜💜💜
I took two triangle shaped makeup sponges, put them in a small empty eye cream jar poured a small amount of gamsol in and that stays on my desk at the ready.
Absolutely love, that you explain all your experiences as you go through your crafting journey Gina, Thank You so much…. Guess what I am doing this afternoon in my lil craft space! Beautiful card, and once again Thank you from the Interior of British Columbia!
I agree with @RoxanneR8375 , about Yes to single colors. (The gray was not for me, but I always like to spend time with Gina K. and Tom.) •How about a Blueprint Blue, a Brick Red, darkest Spruce Green, or darkest Orchid for this technique? The Orchid might need the line stamping re-done in clear embossing powder over the Orchid blending. Gina K., is there a Blueprint Blue available in the future? And way looking forward to seeing the Neon-on-Neon with you and Simon Hurley in 2 days. 💃🏄♂️
@ginak what's an alternative for gamsol? We don't have that in South Africa 🤦🏻♀️, like many other things we don't get here, but I've checked the art shops and they look at me funny when I ask for it 😂 I've seen artist spirits but don't know if that's the same 🤷🏻♀️
The gray scale card is absolutely stunning!
What a creative idea! I want to try greyscale for Fathers Day cards!!

Yes to single colors, the gray was not for me. I’m thinking about blueprint Blue, Brick Red, darkest Spruce Green, and darkest Orchid.

Gray🎨
Angle-xiety???? Oh, Tom, that's hilarious! 😂
Not seeing much of the gray stencil background gave me ‘flourish-xiety’ 😉
😂
Can you use any color
Gray

Hello! How about doing a graduation card?
@ginak what's an alternative for gamsol? We don't have that in South Africa 🤦🏻♀️, like many other things we don't get here, but I've checked the art shops and they look at me funny when I ask for it 😂 I've seen artist spirits but don't know if that's the same 🤷🏻♀️
Any odorless mineral spirits will work!
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV ok thanks, I'll have a look 👍😊
Question...do you have to seal it once you use the gamsol?
No, you don't have to do anything to it!
What if you don't have a wax Pancil. Can you just color with just your color pancil .
Sure!
@GinaKDesigns-StampTV
Thank you. I watch you all the time but I don't say nothing in chat. I love your cardsand ty for showing and sharing with us
Wild rose.
Wendy is correct. It’s a dogwood. However, Anemone is what you want to say.
