Ace was right when treating them with caution was not even a consideration as it led Riddle to be a tyrant and Eliza to spend 500 years searching for an ideal prince that doesn't even exist. In all the time that Trey spent with Riddle and the ghost servants with Eliza, they should have taught Riddle and Eliza that no matter what type of pain and despair they have suffered, that forcing their ideals onto other people in the hopes they find whatever they're looking for is not only going to hurt them but other people in the process. Feeling sympathy for someone's situation is not enough for them to find happiness and move on with their lives, they also have to be told when they're doing something wrong if they're to learn right from wrong and how to not hurt others as they have been hurt.
This is one of those times when Disney goes into someone's character deeply and talks about it so much before fixing it. This is why I like twisted wonderland so much too. 😊

He fight riddle because he knew that riddle action is false and even he risked his own magic for that kind of situation.
