its was pretty good, most buffet style can be hit or miss but I really enjoyed the food. Lots of choice at breakfast and dinner had different themes every evening. Cannot comment on lunch as I was half board

is there good bars and restaurants near this hotel as I am staying here in Aug

Hi Dean, few good bars and restaurants just outside the beach gate entrance to the left, about 5min walk. I've just uploaded 2 videos showing these, Los Jameos shopping centre. If you want some more choice, livelier area then Puerto del Carmen strip is a short bus/taxi ride away or a 30min or so walk. Hope you have a great time! I'm back in this area on the 14th Aug!

Really nice hotel, the staff were awesome, I was there solo just a few weeks ago myself. If you see me out and about filming give me a shout. I usually have a drink at Alisios bar, good drinks and food there and the owner is a good bloke. Next door to that is a bike rental/excursion place (Volcan rent a bike) run by a friend of mine, Javi, if you need a bike/scooter or trip or anything he'll help you out.
