What's amazing is that you show how you wrap the felt around the base, I never knew how to do that so now if I decide to use felt for my spring bonnie mask then I will use your method! :)
I'm working on a pre-withered Foxy mask, like the one Michael wore. Foxy was my favorite FNaF 1 character, so may as well! Thank you for the tutorial! It was a little difficult to follow at first since you jumped right in, but I quickly caught on.
Foxy is definitely my favorite fnaf character ever! And the reason I jumped right in is because the beginning stages are exactly the same as my Freddy and Springtrap cosplays, so if you watched those it would make more sense 😁
I gave up on Funtime Foxy but im working on him again. This video is super helpful. Tysm for this. I have to restart making the base of the head due to some minor issues that'll bother me like crazy 🤣 also congratulations on 13k subs!
Wow, AWSOME looking mask! This gave me some ideas for techniques I'm gonna use for my own cosplay! Just a question, how were you able to see out of the eyes you made? Wouldn't you just be seeing the back of the paper cut out of foxys eye?
I know this will help me alot! so thanks, but I do have a question tho.. if you're walking around in the suit, how do you see if the eyes are painted and stuff?
Hey can you please do a body because I want to know how you do it because you're s is amazing and I want to know so can you please do it on the next video please
I’m almost done with part 2 right now (about to make the bottoms jaw) I just ran out of hot glue sticks and I’m going out of town so I need to wait a bit to finish it
I’m currently making a Bonnie head and I made it big on purpose so I can be more taller, but the thing is that I didn’t think it through when I said to myself that I would look from the mouth..! But the space is going to be be very small between the upper jaw and lower jaw 😭
Im making a funtime freddy paper and cardboard rn ,its turned verry well ,gotta paint the muzzle and making a working jaw,and creating the body parts ❤
Your tutorial for spring trap is going to be very helpful when making my spring Bonnie costume, I'm using this and Andiematronics glitch trap tutorial, right now I'm just trying to learn everything I can!
Honestly I love this tutorial, I may be going a different route making my foxy a bit more like a withered style but this did help along the way so thank you
Wow this is AMAZING! I'm subing and watching your videos more often, I can't believe this hasn't come in my recommended sooner! My friend is making a Foxy cosplay too, I'm gonna show her this as soon as I see her!
I’m just using this to see what exactly the heck you do when trying to 3D print a whole movie accurate Bonnie costume and then make it LOOK like a read Bonnie, when that’s literally the only reason you got the 3D printer for 😭😭 I originally started making fursuits but I’m gonna move on to cosplays when I finish furring my PFP’s head Also, how do u see out of it?
Haha I've never used a 3d printer but it'd definitely help a lot. I explain how I see in the description, and I also mentioned it in the pinned comment 😉 hope that answers it for ya 😁
You connect the jaw and the head together on the hinges that were made from the plastic mesh, using the brad pins. Brad pins have two ends that can fold outwards, securing it in place. After that, the jaw is secured to the head, and can rotate because of the brad pin connection
Thanks! The explanation on how to attach the jaw is from 8:07 to 8:30. If you still have any questions I'll be more than willing to answer them for you 😁
I believe, deep down in my heart as a FNaF 3 fan, that this was made because of the "Crappy Cosplay" comment Phone Dude made. But fr just basing on the thumbnail this looks amazing!
You must've been looking at the wrong foam. The foam I use that is at Walmart is only $27. But I get mine from Joann's for like $15 because they always have discounts
I’m planning on using this tutorial to make this, and I have a question. What kind of fabric did you use for the eyebrows and eyelids, or did you just color them?
Thank you! I’ve made a list for the material needed (as you said most of them in the description), so is this everything? Red fabric Peach fabric White mesh Printer paper (for iris) Ornaments Brad pins Black felt Clay Black paint @@AyeJayDeeDIY
As mentioned in the description, check thrift stores, use discounts, and find stuff from around the house. The price I mentioned was how much it cost me to make it, but it may not be the same for everyone 🤷
Just curious, how did it even cost $90? I calculated the price it would've cost me to make it without using any discounts and buying everything from the store, and it came in just under $50. $22 for foam, $11 for fabric, $5 for a block of white clay, $2 for a pack of brad pins, $3 for popsicle sticks, $1 for the ornament, and around $5 worth of hot glue sticks. Not sure what items you purchased made it cost almost double than it should've.
@@AyeJayDeeDIY So your saying that one piece goes in the mesh on the head and the second piece of the brad pin goes in to the mesh connected to the jaw
Can you clarify how the jaw hinge works? You mention elastic bands in your supplies list, but I'm not sure how to use them to modify the resistance? Thank you for your time.
Use two elastic bands. Attach them on the insides of each side of the jaw. Attach one end on the head part, and the other end on the jaw. I just used hot glue using a low temp hot glue gun to adhere it to the foam. Make sure the jaw is completely closed and attach the two elastic bands with no looseness
@@AyeJayDeeDIY Thank you! That makes perfect sense. I really appreciate it! Halfway through using your tutorial to make my son a Foxy head for a Comic Con in Australia. ♥
Check out some of my other tutorials. And the brad pins act as rotators. I also used elastic bands to add resistance so that way it would move when I move
