I had many dumb moments when i first started CODM. 1. I thought SAM turrets launched rockets at the enemy who are in a certain distance , *like the Mortar in Clash of Clans* 2. When I got that 1CP ticket for free i had the expectations of getting a free spin ( i genuinely thought CODM was F2P friendly ) , until i read the description of what that thing actually does . I even felt the need to write a report to CODM saying that *I would give them 2 1CP tickets for at least 1 Spin* .
When I was new in codm, I thought you can add all attachments you want . I always click the pop up not knowing you can only add up to 5 attachements😂😂😂😂 (there is a pop up when there are 5 attachments)
The PDW gun really gives me nostalgia. When I first played CODM back in 2019, the damage stats of the gun were literally 100 and whenever I would ask my friend what gun is the best to use, he would always say it’s the PDW. I didn’t really think about the low range of the gun until I tried out other guns, most notably the AK-117. (Ahh, another OG gun I miss)
I remember thinking "i must've performed really good" when random teammates invited to next game via "play again" button. I also remeber thinking "why tf would anyone want to play ranked, it's nearly impossible to win" Also in BR i never wanted to pick up adrenaline (when it was in game) because "healing up takes way too long time", then i watched COD-Narco tutorials and found out some secrets.
The dumbest thing I've ever done playing codm was wasting over 800 cp on buying tiers instead of buying the actual bp, i got really frustrated after realizing what I did.

1. Thought all guns has equal strength but with different stats. I mean i dont know what gun is buffed or nerfed i just use guns that i like 2. Didnt knew disadvantage of worst ironsight. I used LK24 without optic. 3. Didnt knew default look. I Equiped attachment to achive good looking gun ( i dont like no stock on AR bcs of bad Looking gun) 4. Owc light supressor on sniper is useless bcs decreasing its range 5. Didnt knew what is silence and supressor
My personal approach to the game as a beginner: I purchased my 1st BP & using the same CP for next BP till today(BP as in Battle Pass, CP as in COD Points).😂 Legendary & Mythic Weapons are too costly too afford Rs.14730 i.e. $178.29(as per asian region pricing system in CoDM). 🤔 Bundles always worth purchasing, starting from 900CP to 2400CP(I prefer this over draw).😉 Be a good player then even victory over mythic and legendary weapon players is possible. It matters whose playing & not the weapon. I am a DLQ33 sniper main since Day 1 and mostly win all matches but sometimes get overpowered by a good locus, zrg, rytec or arctic user, so player matters and not weapon.😊 Before entering in Ranked Match, always do some warm up games in public lobby matches. I never preferred scope because I played a lot COD pc games prior so Reflex was my 1st love before switching to bare iron sight of weapons.😈 And regarding what stealth buddy said about gunsmith, a weapon gunsmith is to enhance the weapon as compared to base weapon and gunsmith for every weapon is unique. Use it according to weapons need and your play style. Learn from other players gunsmiths but create your own, save it and make it your signature.😎
I like building my weapons generally by same recipe with every gun: silenced, bigger magazine size, range, and if possible/ needed some recoil control. Then i save that weapon as v.1.1, play few games and tune the gunsmith to v.1.2 and so on until i'm satisfied. It's very rare to find THE gunsmith at very first try.
Draws cost more in North America than Asia, it seems. CoDm seems to believe that cp has higher value than the U.S Dollar or British Pound. It's ridiculous.
that "knowing the meaning of only two things in gunsmith: damage and accuracy" was so true for me in my early days of CODM...my builds use to be so slow and accurate...LOL.....
Noticing someone with a diamond camo for the first time and thinking it was completely unique. Thinking if I killed someone and picked up their mythic, that meant I could keep it forever. Deciding I would definitely never spend real money in this game, then I saw the CBR4 Danger Close legendary with the P2W sights, and just had to have it.
I used to think new attachments you open for a gun is always the better ones and sometimes its true for certain guns but definitely not all. Now with all of the weapon xp cards that doesn’t matter anymore
when the gunsmith feature is released me as the AK47 main user, always think about reducing the huge recoil and at that time I installed all the attachments focused only on the vertical recoil, although the recoil is comfortable to control but the accuracy when the ADS are so bad tho 😂 I thought that if we have stable and flat recoil, the bullets fired when ADS would be straight like a beam 🤣
You know, it would be a really nice idea if CODM actually did leave out some hard missions to get your chance to own a legendary gun. It’s a win for the non pay-to-win players and there’s gonna be a lot more players playing in the game to grind.

In North America the draws start at 30 cp, then 80, then it would just increase exponentially from there. It's reasonable to assume that legendary/Mythic skins means skill, because it should mean "if you work hard, you too can get this one day" but instead you absolutely have to buy it... I think everything else in this list is more of a sign that someone is new to call of duty as a whole, which is sadly the case for most mobile players. Everyone I know in Codm had never heard of Call of duty nor had played a call of game before downloading the mobile game. It creates this large community of players who think CoDm was the first call of duty game, and that mobile is the true og, when call of duty has actually been around since 2003.
At series 5 2020 with a low end device I hit my first ever legendary rank in br but I thought that hitting legendary rank is the last game in rank matches.
I did not know that there is a Garena version. Crazy story, so a few months before I installed the game, I was outside Southeast Asia, and it said my country did not support. A few months later. I realized that there is a Global version of it. I am from an Huawei phone. So there is no play store for me.

when I was new, I thought I can put one attachment from every category and I used to believe attachments with more pros and less cons are the good ones (like marksman, ranger barrels) and less pros and more cons are bad ones (like combat stock, light stock)... and I thought pro players are using some settings or some hacks to be so fast... I don't know when but I changed the settings of sliding and set to long press crouch... I didn't slide properly and It took me almost 2 months to understand I changed the settings, my game didn't glitched... I didn't wanted to learn the game from youtube, so I explored myself... and I became an average player after 8 months... when I pretty much knew everything... my fav smg was AGR and fav ar was M13... AGR changed but M13 is Still my fav because I can use that gun good... when I rewatch my recordings of that time... I was really a bot that time... the least mobility gun I have in my hand... unable to slide 😂😂

I didn't know about perks too but there was one perk that had on all loadouts: vulture. Then there was time when I used sniper for the first time,. At first I just I just used to camp and later i don't know how but i got a quickscope and now I am a sniper main.
The dumb idea was the playing in autoshoot mode was much better than manual shooting mode. Also we all used oden thinking its the best gun because of damage. Plus I used Pharo because of damage , and Lapa. And yeah I did put a scope on an AR. A 3x scope just to see enemies for far away and 4x too. Anothet dumb idea i had was 2 finger is better than 4 and 3 finger claw. Thinking 4 finger and 3 finger is hard and also it will hurt your finger and make it hard for you. But that wasn't the case 😂😂. With two finger I was a total bot.
well on cod i before an update (don't remember what it was) the damage stats of the weapon show the heqdshot damage and then when i use it i was like bro this guns sucks it said it does 52 damage but does only 37
My first maxed out gun was the striker because I thought it looked cool. Then I got the Chicom Synapse skin which looked really cool to me so I maxed that out too. And now nobody ever believes me
Made me think of when I let my little brother play CODM on my phone for the first time. When I got the RUS and was using it, he only wanted to use the M4. He later soon had one of his favorite guns become the PPSh-41 after grinding a lot on my acc. And now, he has his own, but occasionally using more guns from time to time.
The skin thing was real coz if any other mobile game player come to codm and see the huge amount of free good looking skin then that feeling was awsome

Making the weapons literally 0 recoil using Marksman OWC, Operator Foregrip, Stable stock and ruberized grip, making it a sloooooooow build

But you actually have to do hard mission to get legendary and mythic gun though. The mission is call get more jobs and side hustle.
