Nah Kawasaki and Yokohama Marinos ever gets knocked out fast in this competition. For example the last years was knocked out in the group stage. The only Japanese reams who take this competition seriously was Urawa Reds.

Looking at TOT vs LCS and TOT vs Marine too (pace and stats are similar, but Marine is an 8th division team in England and they did not face huge advantage via international home ground advantage (home advantage vs foreign team, which is even bigger).
J League - Top 3-4 teams is equal to bottom end of English Third Division at best/fourth division at worst. Middle - nearing top end of Eng Div 4/middle part of English Fourth Division. Bottom end = low end of English Fourth Division/top end of English Fifth Division
Saudi Pro League and IR Iran League - English Fourth Division as average for whole league (Saudi just overcomes Korea due to the big teams like Al Hilal and Al Nassr). Bottom teams will f ght in between fourth div and fifth div, especially Saudi
Korea League - English Fourth Division for the very top 2-3 clubs, with the middle and bottom clubs equal to Fifth Division level.
Australia League - just below K League, but slightly better than QAT (not by much)
QAT, UZB, IRQ, maybe UAE - English Fifth Division for the top teams - the rest is Sixth Division. One or two teams like Al Sadd, however, may reach the level of low end, professional football in England (div 4).
Chinese League - English Sixth Division in general when considering all teams - top 2 teams are top end of English Fifth Division with some individuals much higher than the Fourth Div level like Wu Lei and Zhang L
Jordan/Syria - right in between Chinese League and V League, but better than V League
Vietnam (my country) - weakened due to CHN, but, irrespective of that, the level is English Seventh Division for sure when considering all teams. Cong An Han, however, is stably English Sixth Division level - 2-7 individuals in the league like Quang Hai is well above that level as he ranges from PL at best and EFL Championship at worst.
Bottom 2-3 teams is English Eighth Division - not good
THA - English Seventh Division - 3-4 teams nearing the Eighth Division (Tristan Do, fourth division in France, played a number of games for Thailand NT - even with language barrier). Overall, the top and middle teams in Vietnam are better than Thailand, but the b ttom level teams in both nations are the same.
MAS - basically in between THA and IDN, so ENG DIV 8, but Johor is probably ranging from middle of English Fifth Division to low end of National.
IDN (homegrown players - not Europeans) - English Ninth Division for vast majority, but the top 4 teams may be equal to English Eighth Division.
SGP - the top 2 Singaporean teams may range from low end of ENG 8- normal ENG 9 division. The rest are ENG 9-10 - a few nearing levels below
Countries below SGP is English Tenth Division at best, if that, or worse,
English 14th DIV is the lowest - for the youth academy guys, who failed, it is either play in levels like this or just leave football entirely/play football games which is not related to the English Pyramid for fun, so no chance to sign for professional teams if one is somehow good enough (lots of made up teams in UK for SAT afternoon games).
