No, it's not the brand. I think you can change the setting to make your palm un detectable on your ipad
I have learned and mastered the techniques of drawing on an ipad pro and using pro create. Now all i need is an ipad pro.
Don’t have to get an IPad Pro, 7th gen iPad works just fine

FlipArt nah, i have the 7th gen and is awesome, i'd love to have the Pro but it seems a little too weak for it's price, i mean, i'm very careful with my tech but it bends WAAAY too easily, and in my country is almost 1500usd for the base model ):

My mind is blown always wondered how people made such clean lines I just started using procreate a week ago and this was beyond helpful 😁
You can use monoline from Caligraphy pens for more stable lines :) Thank you for the comment.
if you have fear from drawing "not clean" lines, you can have options:
use soft pencil and use a contour on other layer.
take the original picture on other layer and just draw that (cheating?)
do not use procreate, use adobe fresco, which can use vector brushes as well, and those lines are constant and "clean"

U can use alpha lock then use a brush to shade it

The iPad works amazingly the box came a little dirty, th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA no plastic wrap, but the box was sealed and had everything else in the box along with the wrapping, the iPad itself is gorgeous, I got the yellow 64g game storage is good for me along with Socials and school stuff. No scratches or marks came with the charger and box fast speed, and if you are buying a pen get the 1st gen don’t make the mistake I did !!
I get my iPad Air for Christmas!! This tutorial def helped, and I am absolutely gonna watch this again since it was very helpful!!!

Crazy how far things have come I remember 15 years ago scanning my drawings into my computer to put them in photoshop lol this program looks sooooo easy to use

I just finished 3 years of school in graphic design but that’s how things are still done lol except scanning is just done easily now with our phones instead of needing to use a scanner

I am not a artist, well I do music but not drawing. I honestly probably couldn’t draw to save my life! I am trying to learn how to since I am spending money on an Apple Pencil and an iPad Pro. I saw how you made the circle perfectly round but how did you make the other line strokes smooth and crisp on the 2nd layer ? Are you holding there too?

This was a great video. In my opinion for intermediate users or above. I am new to Procreate. I was intrigued by your description that your video was for beginners. Most of what you did was very fast and over my head because I am a beginner so I will revisit your video once I get more proficient in Procreate. As I said, I am a beginner, and your video is just too advanced for me. However, I was impressed how you drew Mickey Mouse. I’ll see you on your channel when I am more experienced in Procreate and I am no longer a beginner. Thank you.

Tip for circles if you have to hold it to long, go to gesture controls under the tool icon on the far left, there is a ico about shapes I forgot the name but press it and bring the bar at the bottom all the way down to .10 seconds!
next to galery the wrench icon go to prefs > gesture controls > quickshape > drag it to .35 maybe .40 (.10 is to quick an you wont be able to draw properly)

Kindly do a longer tutorial for your photo-realistic artworks, with you speaking. Your my favourite artist in here and im spending hours everyday trying to learn your method.
What I am mostly struggling with is how you use your smudging tool. It is too speed-up on your tutorial. Do you smudge from colour to white, or white to colour? Dark to white? Along the lines? So many questions.
How do you pick your colours? Do you have a few saved you re-use during a portrait? :)

Oh my word. While I may never be able to draw perfectly...I may by the time I’m 71....get the knack of procreate. I’m 61...by the way. 🤣. The struggle is real. Need a basics class and work my way up.
What kind of glove is that? Is that for drawing on tablets? I rest my hand on my ipad and wonder if that helps with drawing and resting your hand on table
it's made for palm rest on the ipad. i used it to have smooth curves when drawing and it is easy to run your hand at the ipad surface.
