- This video is regarding the simulation of Phononic Crystal devices using COMSOL Multiphysics. I explained how to calculate the Band Structure (band gaps) with an Aluminum-hole phononic crystal unit cell.

Hello Subrahmanyam! Thanks for the wonderful tutorials. You have mentioned in the tutorial that you would share the document via a Google Drive link but it seems I am unable to locate it. Please do share.
Hi,thank you so much. Can you tell why you added solid mechanics option?
I would love to learn COMSOL Multiphysics and work on projects of Band gaps. When can I learn COMSOL Multiphysics software in detail?.
Thank you Subrahmanyam Gantasala, it was helpfull, can you please add the transmission part?
Thanks @hamzahamza2696 . Just uploaded Part - II explaining transmission spectrum simulation - th-cam.com/video/ywy6z3hvQF0/w-d-xo.html
hello, I want to know what is the book you used in this video. Its very important for me🥺
Sir your video is very helpful, but unfortunately the link you provided is now unavailable. Could you provide us a new link for the document? Thank you.
updated the document link
Hello sir, I have two questions. Can I use this similar process to find 2D/3D photonic crystal bandgap? Also, can I have the drive link if possible as the given one is not working.
I was doing the same thing but for 2D Photonic Crystal. I was getting the same kind of band structure. Now how do I show the band structures for TE and TM mode with different colours in the plot?
Hei, did u change any steps when simulating the photonic crystal except materials
?
I'm working on a simulation that is very similar to this, however, I also need to add the z-direction. Would it be possible to add a "kz" parameter and if so, what would it look like?
Yes you can add kz to calculate 3D band spectrum for a 3D periodic PnC. I remember doing it once, let me know if you need me to make a video on that
link is not valid for the document. pls mail me the document.
Thanks for share!
Hello! I hope you're doing well. I was wondering if you're still at IITM and have some time to spare to assist me with my project on Photonic Crystals? It would be greatly appreciated!
Sir can I mail you personally..
I have many of queries about this topic .
Sure! Let me know your email id.
