She whispers like my abuelita. Takes me back to when I was younger and after my grandma would bathe and dress me for bed, she would whisper all these loving things as she gave me a head massage. I miss being little. This video makes me feel safe again.
When I see the immense popularity of ASMR in general I'd say there are MANY people who have that same feeling (both of feeling little and feeling safe again). (By the way, I'm not trying to ridicule it, I'm actually worried that is says A LOT about the mostly Western culture of how we tend to deal with things like stress or other things).

It’s great! Have you tried putting the microphone on the person receiving the massage? Not sure if that would work? Might reduce the ambient breathing sounds (the breathing is nice but I know some don’t like it)

From what I can gather massaging/rubbing with natural products like peppers, eggs, fruit helps cleanse/draw out the negative energy from a person while imparting the scent of natural oils etc.
It’s a very old practice, people in South America use to use massages with fruit to help make them smell better, as like a form of perfume or deodorant before deodorant existed.
Everytime I watch their videos I fell asleep easily. Thank you so muchhhhhhhh for filming theseeeee.
