I bought a new computer and work hard to reinstall the needed software. From Friday the 16th my You Tube videos should come on a regular basis again, friendly greetings, Soeren

I really really enjoyed this lesson Soeren. Absolutely love the licks you showed in this lesson; super tasty phrasing as well as spanning 3 octaves. I also like that run you did 33 seconds into the video; I'm going to slow down the video and learn that one as well! Don't know if it's my computer but your video freezes at around 3:28 through 4:23 while the audio keeps playing normally. I closed Windows and restarted a couple times and the glitch seems to repeat each time. Maybe you can check it on your end and see if it runs without the freeze up. Again, maybe it's my computer, hard to tell. Ed

Hi Ed. Thanks for commenting! I am happy you like the small solo. I also like the lick around 33 seconds, I had to smile first time I played it. My PC is not in great shape, and I already ordered a new one, it should arrive the last day in July and by then my studio teacher, who knows everything about uploading Cubase, video pad editor etc will be back from holiday. Thanks for letting me know! Soeren

@@soerenguitarlessons9947 Yes indeed that was a great lick at that 33 second mark. I've already started deconstructing that using 50% speed setting. A new PC, great! You've rarely had any glitches over all these years, maybe 2 or 3 at most over the hundreds you've uploaded so your current PC has done well over the years. I'm actually thinking about a new PC as mine is about 15 years old though still runs without issues but is on the slow side. Have a great weekend! Ed

I remember when I started playing I had a lot of books to learn licks from, then I wanted to create my own, but recently I feel like I need to start learning licks again, I guess I'm not that good at creating my own, :p so thanks for the lesson!

Hi Gerry! Thanks for commenting. And yes it is a never ending story learning new stuff and new licks. Some like the TH-cam videos and some like to have a booklet with licks and chords (not to forget!). It seems that I have been blessed with a very good blues ear, so I very rare took licks from record or from books. When I hear a lick that interests me, very often the next thing, I simply play it. With the jazz stuff however, I needed booklets and videos etc, so I know what you mean! friendly greetings, Soeren

Hi Soeren. Always find your videos really useful and appreciate all the trouble you go to to make them clear and useful. As someone else has pointed out the video freezes whilst the audio carries on as normal at 3.28. It's not really a problem but thought I'd mention it just in case you want to have a look at the edit and perhaps re-upload?

Hi Howard! Thanks for commenting. I am happy you like my videos. I have some problems with my current PC, and I have already ordered a new. That should be working by mid August. Meanwhile I try to make at least one more video for next Friday, and I will look it through before loading. Soeren
