Looking at some of the most popular French Bulldog Colors for 2020 as ranked by google trends. While these French Bulldogs' colors are extremely popular, they are not necessarily the most expensive or rare. Color Patterns and attributes outside of colour, such as brindle, fawn , merle were also looked at as stand-alone French bulldog features.

I have seven new blue lilac pups. Three of them have the tan points they are amazing. I was going to get rid of them all but I'm thinking of keeping one now.
I see the red fawn ones everywhere in NYC - also the honey tri pieds (brown and white with black mask)

I know it's about colours on here ,how about structure,snout length etc ? Frenchies seem to come in all sizes the bully type ,terrier type flatter face etc etc what do people prefer ?

There are only a few standard colors in the Frenchie : fawn and brindle, combined with white or totally white. Blue, tan-pattern, long coat, merle are the result of crossing with other breeds and/or inbreeding. This breed has other priorities than selecting on color only, for instance : longer nose, no more c-sections, better skin ...

Our first rescued dog was brindle then got a merle. Both are nothing else but adora"bull" bunch of happiness in a tight container.

Color
Acceptable colors: white, cream, fawn (ranging from light fawn to a red fawn), or any combinations of the foregoing. Markings and patterns are: brindle, piebald, black masks, black shadings, and white markings. Ticking is acceptable but not desired. Brindle ranges from sparse but clearly defined black stripes on a fawn background to such heavy concentration of black striping that the essential fawn background color barely shows through (“black brindle”). Only a trace of the background color is necessary; in a brindle piebald, a trace of the brindle patterning in any patch is sufficient. All other colors, markings or patterns are a disqualification. Disqualifying colors and patterns include, but are not limited to, solid black, black and tan, black and white, white with black, blue, blue fawn, liver, and merle. Black means black without a trace of brindle.

They should be selecting on longer noses, wider nostrils, natural birth, no skin issues etc and not on dq colors alone ! There is a reason these colors are dq : because of health reasons or because they never appeared in the breed and are signs of mixed breeding to other dog brees.
True frenches have longer nose no tail and not that big and mine has them but is a platinum lilac Isabella with green eyes

We have a 10wk Solid fawn Frenchie ....her name is Olive and she's the sweetest puppy with the most zen demeanor. Our Yorkie runs the house....she loves her new sis though😉

Merle didn't exist in the Frenchie, it comes from crossing with dappeld Dachshunds or Chihuahuas generations back, so far for 'purity' of the breed
@@wanneske1969 This is a common misconception. People were saying the same thing about the Fluffy gene, when in fact, they are naturally occurring genes, and overtime become more prominent with close line breeding. All of my dogs are purebred, AKC registered and health tested through UC Davis and Embark, and they all come back as 100% French Bulldog. The funny thing is, the French Bulldog was created by cross breeding English Bulldogs with Pugs and Terriers. So saying pure bred doesn’t really make sense when referring to any “designer” breed. What matters is the proof of lineage through registration and all of my dogs have that.

So I just scored an amazing looking .. lilac, cream, blue frenchie pup.. he's so gorgeous. You can see all three traits are visible. He has the blue face and the head and body are lilac cream with blue along the back.. how lucky am I lol

We have two Blues, blood brothers, same Mom/Dad just 2 litters apart. They are so bonded and it’s awesome having 2 different shades of blue, ones very blue and the other is much lighter. We have always been Frenchie parents, love, love, love this breed.
Why didn’t you do black and white one?
Mines a white cream but he has dark brown ears with like a half mask that only covers one eye and his mouth

The breeder we got our blue Frenchie from told us it was a less desirable color amongst French bulldog lovers. I thought the blue color looked beautiful.
Blues are okay, I work with a lot of french bulldogs, Merle’s and isebella are the highest in demand.

In the UK there is a lot of thought that there is a genetic prob with Blue, Frenchies, to us not a natural color.
Mine is all caramel with a white stripe across the nose it doesn’t have any black and I haven’t seen any other frenchies like that so I’m confused lol

Pied was just outside of tenth, tan combinations are not as actively sought out, but definitely popular in the breeding community!
@@BluFrenchibles that is not true... lilac and tan lilac and fawn and lilac and tan platinum are very much desirable and are considered exotic colours. By the way the dog you put as cream is not a cream. Creams have dark brown eyes, never ever blue. Blue eyes/ green eyes are only in lilacs and brown genetics- lilac, lilac and tan, chocolate, lilac fawn, lilac tan platinum , Choco and Isabella
