    I love the idea of using plain paper and cooking oil instead of transparency..... game changer.
    I'm going to try that on my next screen!
    Update: I did try it and it worked perfectly, I think this will be my regular method now 👍

    amazing note all. this process is very tricky, just keep perfecting the process, it will help. carefull also using the sun, pick time like 10am to 1pm 3 to 5 seconds, 3pm to 5pms longer but it dpnds on your mix. this vid is very straight forward and practical. Goodluck and happy printing all

      I think the photosensitizer of TULCO is forgiving...he can even work on ambient room light during the preparation of the screen without risk of it being developed/sensitized.

      the glue is called Table Adhesive....specifically formulated for t-shirt printing used...

    How do you know where to place the stencil for the design to get it perfect placement? I mean the first color...is there a guide?

      I center the Design on Shirt Pad....so that the design will land on the center of the T-shirts....

      It's been over a year now, and I still don't know how to center my stencil to get the exact spot when printing more than one colour.
      What kind of magic did you use to get yours in place? It's been frustrating, to be honest. These days, the thought of printing more than one colour scares me because I just might mess it up again and again. Right now I can't afford a 4-colour press and I just want to get it right just like you did. Please help

    I am just about to start screen printing and have been looking at a lot of videos. This one is the best and easiest to understand and work with . Not to mention cost effective.       Most of the time I just let it dry naturally since it's water-based, but you can use hair blower or exposed the printed t-shirt under the heat of the sun to dry the paint faster.

      I find Water-based Paints simpler to use...both Water-based paints and plastisol inks have advantage and dis-advantages so it's really up to you...

    Can you always see through the print to line up the colors? If so..is it the ink?

      It's easier to see through the screen when the designs are big, yes right consistency of ink makes it possible because once you screen print non or very small amount of ink was left on the openings of the screen stencil which make it possible to see through....

      Yes...you'll have a hard time washing the screens or worst the design won't come out....

      What I would recommend is the one they use in beauty parlor (water-sprayer)...I thging power-spray is to Strong to use in washing the developed screen....

      There are photo emulsions that don't need a hardener if that's the kind of Photo Emulsion available in your area then you don't have to apply a Hardener...anyway the Hardener I'm using is available here: www.tulco.net/

    Una pregunta. Que tipo de enmulcion preparas para el revelado.. Trabaje en serigrafia 5 años. Nunca vi ese tipo de enmulcion. Y por eso es mi curiosidad de saber que es, ya que en mi casa llevo a cabo pequeños proyectos... Saludos y que buen travajo

      Usually t-shirt cost here is P150 (US$3) each and printing is around P100 to P150 pesos (US$2 - US$6) so the Total cost for t-shirt and printing is P250 to P300 (US$5 to US$6) each....
