What's In Between Ask And Receive

In between asking God for something and receiving what we asked for, there is a gap of time where we can become angry, confused, and hopeless waiting for God to answer our prayer. Because God is a loving Father, He will never give us a position or possession that our immaturity could sabotage.
When you ask God for something, you won’t get the thing you asked for right away, instead you will get a journey to get you ready for the thing you’re asking for. While you’re waiting, ask God to grow you and trust that God’s timing is the best timing for you

I had a challenging week mentally, spiritually, and physically. I even had the nerve to ask God "why are you letting these thing happen to me?" and "You must not be there because I'm calling on you and there is no answer..."
The devil took it a step further and reminded me of Matthew 7:7-8
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
And with that he had me doubting our Father. (Because I wasn't getting what I had asked for) (boy did I sound like a brat!) Well.....the devil is a LIAR!!!!! THE FATHER OF ALL LIES!
With all that said....Our Father knelt down and answered me with overwhelming love and said "Yes I'm here...and everything is OK don't you worry. I will not let you fall"

Wow, what a great message and a new way of thinking about the time when I pray and what happens in the between times. Now I have a great answer to give those who ask why God takes so long. One prayer= 10,000 things He needs to do in order for me to get the answer. #aprayerequalsajourney2maturity!

I was really tested ,my faith was tested , my love for god was tested. PRAISE GOD I know my JESUS. My family was informed their 18 year old daughter has deadly. stomach cancer . Fell to my knees to pray. I found what FAITH really is . Please pray for Katland .This 18 year old angle needs lots of prayers. May god bless.
