you have built your own sound and that is good. my only objection is with the two girls singing...both are beautiful but in the end you have to choose one.
I think the essence of the TBW sound IS the two lead singers, whose voices coalesce so well. Having subsequently heard one of them sing in a totally different style, showing a huge range of vocal ability, I would say that everything TBW do is a matter of artistic/stylistic choice. This band COULD make a different sound, but they make THIS sound cos they choose to. I am not sure there is a pressing need for @strangecorrelations to have sex with his mother, but he could listen to someone else.
