    I feel you Robert. We’ve been flooded 3x this year already.
    We appreciate your empathy for our kababayan and how you always give us a detailed update on the weather. Keep safe also. ❤

    WOW, some areas in the Philippines are completely inundated with flood waters. Prayers to those affected by this storm. Thanks for the updated weather advisory on Guam.

    Almost noon here in Saipan; very windy and lots of rain. A lot of flooding in low-lying areas. I’m out an about and haven’t seen damage as much as just lots and lots of run-off flooding. Thank you for the updates!

    Thank you so much for the regular updates, Robert! It felt like you were here, surveying Luzon weather events.
    Relieved that the water in the Marikina River did not rise critically.
    But the approaching storm might pull in more rain clouds... 😢
    Praying for our brethren in flooded areas over in Bicol and Batangas.🙏

    That northern ridge steers these storms crazy.
    We just got beaten up here in west and it's looks like Kristine are not done yet.

    In a country that constantly gets huge amounts of sudden rainfall from typhoons, the drainage management is absolutely pathetic.
    Until some serious commitment is made on this problem these disasters of flooding will for ever continue

    • @joehinds29988
      @joehinds29988 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      It was a continous heavy rain. Proper drainage will not solve it unfortunately.

      No Flood Control infrastructure can prevent floodings in that amount of rainfall, remember that flood control systems dump excess waters to the rivers, but the rivers are also overflowing... so blaming drainage/flood control systems in that kind of rain is stupid and doesn't know anything about civil works or even hydrometry..

      Stop all the littering & plastic usage, what drainage there is is choked up with garbage. Need a national govt funded anti-litter campaign.

      They're just like to rush it up. And also I hate how they changed naming list from naming storm with English names in alphabetically to how we are naming it since the starts of the 2000s😢

    It was ridiculous. If ever you need to convince yourself that weather modification is a thing, this tropical depression proves it. The thing jumped from location to location in an attempt to produce maximum impact in the Manila area... and again, failed. Now, you could call me paranoid, but I've been watching closely.
